This place was a special stop on our weel-long trip along the Oregon coast. So historic and beautifully maintained both inside and out. The staff work hard to provide a memorable experience! Will, Cecily, and Gary were super! The views were spectacular, and exploring the beautiful coast at low tide was amazing. The lighthouse is a short trail away from the house. What a great stay.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Heceta Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast for my birthday weekend (Jan 30 - Feb 1), and it was nothing short of magical! From the moment I arrived, the staff (Thank you Cecily, Misty, David, Michelle & Will) made me feel like royalty. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality set a new standard—kind, generous, engaging, and effortlessly professional, they created a truly personalized and relaxing experience that I will never forget.||The seven-course breakfast was an exquisite culinary adventure! Every bite was perfection, from the tuna ceviche to the candied ginger smoothies, followed by a homemade tomatillo frittata with sun-dried tomatoes and sage pork sausage. Every dish was crafted with care and full of incredible flavor. And let’s not forget the wine and cheese hour in the evening—absolute bliss!||Beyond the food and service, the bed itself was an experience. The perfect firmness, sheets that felt like they were woven by angels, and pillows so plush they made me want to stay curled up all day. Waking up to breathtaking ocean views and the charm of this historic Queen Anne-style home was simply unforgettable.||Between the stunning location, the rich history, the impeccable service, and the best sleep of my life, I didn’t want to leave. I will be telling everyone about this incredible gem, and I can’t wait to come back soon! If you're looking for a dream getaway, Heceta Lighthouse B&B is it.

Wonderful. Historical, well-appointed furnishings. Spectacular views. Delicious and generous breakfast and afternoon tiffin. Friendly and engaging staff (Cecily, William). Heavy forested surroundings opening to a beach along a rocky shoreline, with a major lighthouse nearby to shed a beautiful light show.

I was so appreciative of the staff’s attention to my dietary needs. They created a beautiful 7 course breakfast altering ingredients in a way that I felt cared for and not excluded. I didn’t miss out on any of the delectable courses. |The walk up to the lighthouse at night was magical and just sitting on the long front porch, a cup of tea in hand, watching the waves was so amazingly relaxing.

We have always wanted to stay at the Heceta Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast. We finally visited in January 2025. The visit exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and full of information about the lighthouse and the area. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed an evening hike to the lighthouse and games in the parlor by the fire. The 7 course breakfast was fabulous. We cannot wait to visit again. Thank you

Stayed one night at the B&B. Gorgeous spot with amazing views. House is filled with antique furniture and such. Lots of cool info about the history of the place. Breakfast was nicely done and tasty - although at a set time and drawn out over 90 minutes. So there was lots of good about the place. But not a terribly comfortable stay. Chairs in the lounges were are all tiny, uncomfortable antiques. Bed was fine, but no electric outlet on one side of the bed. One electric outlet across the room was worn down so that my charger wouldn’t stay in the receptacle. Piddly stuff, but still annoying. And three rooms shared one bathroom - and that bathroom only had a tub and no shower, so I don’t think anyone bathed out of concern of taking up the only bathroom for too long. Overall, enjoyed my stay, but glad it was just for one night.

Our family gathered here to grieve the loss of a beloved and we could not have been in a more nurturing and beautiful environment. It was as if time stood still for us and we were protected in this loving space where we could feel all the joy of having had this person in our lives and all the profound sadness of losing her. The staff's graciousness and skill enhanced the natural beauty of the environment. The staff, Cecily William, and Will, were not only extremely professional and competent, but genuinely caring and sensitive to all the guest's needs--they navigated the complex situation with true talent and compassion. The owner is most giving--one of the good people of this world. The combination of the breathtakingly beautiful setting, skilled and caring staff, incredible food, and timeless charm of the rooms and building itself provided an experience that I never wanted to end.

From the location, decor, ambiance, view, furnishings and staff, it was all top notch! This was a splurge for us as it was more money than we usually spend but it was so incredible, I highly recommend. The wine and cheese happy hour was a nice bonus and who's ever heard of a seven course breakfast?! Wow! All of the staff was great but Will was a standout. He was very welcoming and such a delight! We really enjoyed the nighttime walk to the lighthouse too!
