A line forms in a half circle inside the building for their amazing & deliciously brewed coffee! Worth the wait and the molasses cookies? Worth the wait too! I absolutely loved my eggnog latte & my nephew loved his too. Fresh ground beans & fresh brewed coffee draws out the true coffee lovers & I'm so glad to have found this coffee shop. Aaaammaazing!

I traveled to Hudson, Ohio & while there found a cozy little coffee shop. The Heartwood Coffee Roasters caught my eye, so I stopped in to have a cup. The shop is definitely popular with the local crowd, it was busy for sure. As I waited to order, I like the vibe & atmosphere, very inviting & calm. The staff were pleasant & helpful, assisted me with making my coffee selection & food order. I decided on the chocolate latte & breakfast sandwich. My order was up quick & then I made my way over to the last table available. I sat and enjoyed my hot & tasty coffee, the chocolate was the perfect amount, it was overpowering. I then moved on to the scrumptious breakfast sandwich. I truly enjoyed my morning & glad that I stopped to have coffee there. If you like a great cup of coffee, I strongly recommend you give this place a try.

100/10 Latte is out of this world! It was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice. We don't live close to the area, but I hope they open another cafe near strongsville 🙌

If you like comfy coffee shops with a whimsical flare, this one makes the effort. Service is friendly and helpful. The coffee is good and the atmosphere is nice. Nothing to complain about and really no negatives. Nevertheless, I’m left wondering “is it really unique enough to be a must go-to spot?”, or is this “just another coffee shop that serves its purpose?” (i.e., provide coffee and give me a place to sit). I say it is worth the visit and you decide.

Heartwood is awesome. Everything I’ve gotten, food or drink, is great and the employees are always very kind and helpful. The weekends can be really busy, but they still do a great job, and hey, that means everyone loves it! Highly recommend the Honeybuzz! 😍

Update review: 2022
Still the BEST coffee around.

Max makes the best Cortado around. It’s very hard to find a good Cortado up here in the Northeast area. Down to Miami Florida no problem. With one exception here at Hearthwood coffee roasters in Hudson. Max has perfected the Cortito. It makes me want to come here every single day. The price is right too. $2.50 just like many places in Florida. They make a fantastic Americano too. This coffee shop has a beautiful interior with a mezzanine and outside seating. This location also has a semi private room with some children’s toys and books off to the side. A great place for a meeting or to entertain a child while you’re enjoying coffee with your adult friend. They recently added a very comfortable couch in their seating area too. The people are friendly and welcoming. Just a great way to start your day.

Cute little cafe; has both indoor and outdoor seating. The employees are generally nice, though somewhat aloof, but it's doubtful there will ever be a messy customer-employee interaction here; it's not the vibe of town. The drinks are pretty gifs and flavorful, though small and rather overpriced. I've been there several times, and you can expect a 10-12oz beverage to cost $5.50-7. They don't do large sizes. Their non dairy milk subs will unfortunately cost you an extra 1.50(🤯) which for someone who's lactose intolerant like myself is pretty disappointing. I love supporting local coffee shops, but this one drains my pockets a little too much to make it a regular destination.
They have some nice bakery items including 1-2 gluten free treats, which is great. If you want to stretch your legs, work off some of that maple latte, or extend a day date, there are also little woodsy trails across the street to meander, as well as a new (belive it was finished in 2023) community park trail around a retention pond lake. If you're willing to spend some money, it's a good way to spend a couple hours!
