Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa and Cottages is the ultimate beachfront resort experience. The views at Headlands Lodge are unbeatable, being perched right over the beach on the tranquil Oregon Coast. I love watching the dory boats return from their fishing, landing right on the beach with their flat hulls. A delicious snack or meal at Meridian Restaurant while gazing out at the ocean with make you want to return again and again....

Great views and access to the beach, with a short walk to the Pelican Brewery. Cool little town of Pacific City, great coffee cafe down the street. Nice looking bar and restaurant here as well. Nothing is inexpensive, but very nice quality of the room (top level with balcony), cool shower and comfy beds!

Can't wait to go back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My partner had always wanted to stay at this hotel (she loves the Oregon Coast), so I engineered a way to get her to the hotel, beat her there, and propose when we she walked into the hotel room.

When I pitched to the staff if they could "fake" check-in one of our best friend's who was "taking her on a girl's weekend" - they didn't even hesitate, creating a fake receipt and all.

She never saw it coming (and said yes!) - it was the perfect memory, at the perfect place, that will last a lifetime! Huge thank you to the staff who made it all possible.

The beach views from the room are absolutely stunning - well worth it (and maybe even better) in the winter. I find most hotel rooms don't live up to the pictures - its safe to say that Headlands has the opposite problem, the pictures don't do the property justice. (And beach access is just around the corner.)

The bar, drinks and restaurant were incredible - and our corgi had absolutely the best trip! The homemade dog treats were an incredible touch. They truly think of everything!

This is a very nice property. Staff wasn’t the greatest and were rude at times. When ur paying $700 a night for a hotel you expect the service to be top notch and it just wasn’t. The restaurant was a little frustrating as well. For dinner we didn’t have reservations as it was empty only to be told that they didn’t have room for 30 minutes. The same table was empty while we waited only to be forced to sit in the lobby just to prove a point. At the scheduled time is when we’re sat down. I’m with my 11 yo son and it was just rude. Do better.

From the moment we walked in we felt like we had crossed into a different realm. Beautiful views every where you look, excellent service and endless amenities. We couldn’t have imagined a better experience. ||||We were in a corner king sunlight room on the top floor and WOW, what a room! I could be in the tub, my husband in the shower and we could both see the ocean, Kiwanda Rock and be watching a movie. Another level of luxury and comfort. ||||With surprises around every corner we just couldn’t stop discovering things we liked about this special place.||We had a private guided tour to the top of the Dune and he was truly passionate and well-versed on the area and nothing but professional. We checked out E-bikes for a 10+ mile cruise. The provided maps were perfect for adventuring the city and backroads with confidence. We had complimentary coffee each morning, infused water to hydrate us each afternoon and chocolate truffles with cocktails each night. ||||The small but notable touches and excellent service are really what set this place apart. On every room there were live plants. The spa, the lobby, every restaurant table , the elevator waiting areas, and our room. It made it feel so fresh, clean, and homey. ||||The spa/hot-tub area has the most incredible steam sauna, our most favorite part of our stay. We had great massages that were so relaxing. The bathroom offered personal care items that really made you feel at home. I used a hair tie before relaxing in the hot tub and I was grateful for the comb, toothbrush, and q-tip for after my shower. I also could blow dry my hair before returning to our room. ||||Something I found I quite appreciated was all the hooks. Our room had at least 11, the hot tub area had several, the spa had several, they were everywhere. So convenient and so utilized. and a place you spend so much time in suits and towels you need places for them to hang. They were all thoughtfully placed too. We’ve traveled to so many places and this sort of detail is often over looked. The shelf’s and storage in the room were helpful as well as all the lighting. Almost every light was dimmable, another feature that just puts the whole experience on another level. ||||Every year for our anniversary we travel to a nice place with a spa and in room tub. ||Headlands you set the bar to a new height, we will someday return to escape to the oasis that this place was for us.

Incredible experience. I had never even heard of The Headlands. Stayed there is weekend as part of a work event and was blown away by how beautiful The Headlands was and the level of service we received (I had assumed that the Stephanie Inn was the only hotel on the Oregon coast that was on this level, but the Headland is right there with it). The rooms are off the charts amazing with stunning views, bathtubs and showers that both have a view of the ocean, and most importantly they are SUPER quiet. The restaurant was also amazing as was the incredibly helpful and attentive staff. Myself and my wife will 100% be coming back for a non-work event weekend!

Stayed here for the first time in mid November. May I just say Traeger the manager was both exceptional and punctual in his professionalism. The rest of the staff really made my stay feel like home. The room was tidy and perfect for me. Will definitely be returning in the future. Headlands is the the epitome of excellence 10/10 highly recommend staying here 🫡

If you're searching for oceanfront views with a relaxing and delicious experience, Headlands is the place to be. As returning guests, we are surprised it has taken us this long to leave a review, would rate this 10/10. The oceanfront views are amazing, you are placed right on the beach with nothing in front of you except the beach and ocean. The room is modern with a beautiful walk-in shower with glass walls and a soaking tub with complimentary local bath salts. They also have pet friendly rooms and seem to provide all local or from OR snacks and supplies. We can't compliment the staff enough on this stay. Walking into the Headlands is always a thrill with its grand entryway with warm welcomes from the front staff. Sammie really ensured our check-in and check-out was a breeze! Rhiannon remembered us from last time and welcomed us back and helped made sure our room was stocked with welcome beverages and sweet hand written cards to help celebrate birthdays. The entire staff for their restaurant Meridian were fantastic and shared the same accommodating and great service experience. Not only is the hotel, the restaurant, and the rooms aesthetically pleasing, but again, the oceanfront views are breathtaking and totally worth the stay. The food at the Meridian is top-notch. The halibut entree at dinner was stunning, perfectly cooked halibut sitting on top of perfectly grilled kale and mashed potatoes. Breakfast was also delicious and compared to some other restaurants like the Jory at the Allison Inn & Spa, we felt like the food at the Meridian was better! What a relaxing getaway and you really feel transported away from the day to day life. You don't need to travel really anywhere else, Headlands has you covered with everything! We also brought our toddler and dog, who both absolutely loved their stay. It made for amazing memories and we are grateful to have created them at the Headlands. As we checked out, we were sad to leave but excited knowing there will be future visits ahead. Thanks for a great time!
