Hey there! I want to tell you about our fantastic experience at the Harrison House. We arrived on July 30th and left on August 1st in the morning, and our stay was terrific! The house's beautiful decorations, reminiscent of the turn of the 19th century, made us feel like we had stepped back in time. The attention to detail in creating a novel-like atmosphere was perfect. We enjoyed spending time in the living room - I read while my wife played the beautiful Baldwin 9ft concert grand piano. The dining area was exquisitely decorated, and having breakfast felt like a dream. The porch offered a peaceful view of a church and the unique older homes in the neighborhood. Josh's hospitality was exceptional, and the breakfasts he prepared were akin to those of a 5-star hotel. Josh played some old-time hymns on the second day of our stay as my wife and I delighted in our breakfast meal.
The cost of our stay was reasonable, considering the quality of service and the unique experience. The area around the Harrison House is a haven of tranquility, with minimal traffic and a pace of life that starkly contrasts the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything in this town moved leisurely, precisely what we needed for a relaxing break. My wife, a piano teacher, was particularly delighted with the opportunity to play their concert grand piano.
Harrison House is the perfect place for a fantastic, relaxing getaway in a timeless setting with a slow pace, great company, beautiful scenery, and even some feline friends. Five stars from us! We're already making plans to return in the fall.

I've stayed here 3 times and i have to say this place is a real gem. Its breathtaking walking in and realizing you get to stay at such a beautiful home. Walking in the last time I felt like I was walking into my grandma's house where there's warm cookies and a warm bed waiting for me after a long drive.

The rooms are clean and cozy. The host will help with any issues that you might have with it but its unlikely you'll have any. The rooms are just as beautiful in person as they are in the pictures. After staying in the Yellow, Blue, and Red room I can say they all have their own little happy atmosphere in each of them. We never felt cramped from staying in any of the rooms with 2 people.

The bathroom is communal but with only 3 rooms for maybe 6 people that's hardly something to complain about. I stayed whenever they were booked and there was so issue. Its clean, the water is hot, there is extra soap if you need some, and the best part is that the whole thing has antiques everywhere.

There is breakfast provided and its not something you want to miss. The host will sit with you and chit chat like old friends catching up. They'll accommodate request you might have like not eating meat.

There is hot tea, warm cookies, water, and fresh fruit available to guest whenever they walk in. Do not pass up those cookies!

The cherry on top of this place are the sweet little cats that come out to visit in this morning!

Just absolutely fabulous! What a wonderful experience! Great coffee and breakfast! Charming hosts! Cool and friendly cats! Beautifully decorated rooms in a tastefully restored home. Absolutely the best B&B I've ever stayed in! Oh, and goooood coffee! Update: stayed here for second time, still absolutely fabulous!

Omg! What a beautifully restored home! This is a very cozy place to stay, that is beautifully decorated. The host are the most accommodating and helpful people, I have stayed on a number of occasions and look forward to staying again!

This was a beautiful experience. One of the best B&B. The house is gorgeous, takes me back to the titanic scene, coming down the stairs to all the beautiful decorations . The breakfast they serve is super tasty and they give you a little history on the house. We stayed at the Red room and it was perfect for the hubby and I.

I was super excited about booking this place as I saw it on google and it had rave reviews! I’m a travel nurse so I try to stay in super cool places when visiting an area I have never been in. I didn’t realize that the place needed to be booked via AirBNB. I just researched it and stopped by with hopes of booking. The doors was unlocked so I walked in and stood in the front. I called for assistance and waited a few minutes as the place was Huge and knew that they probably didn’t hear me. A guy walked from the back and looked confused and asked how I got in. I explained that the door was unlocked and that I would like to know if they had any openings. He stated that he “ran other businesses “and he didn’t know about the availability and that I needed to book online which was perfectly fine, until he called his son and walked in the other room and literally started yelling about me just walking in and that his son needed to get over here to handle this, I guess. Definitely did not feel welcomed AT ALL. Customer service goes a long way in business no matter the situation. I’m a blogger as well and I definitely didn’t give them a good review. Just a note… there were no other guests there. Either way would not recommend on customer service alone.

My family had the pleasure of staying at the Harrison House for a week and it was a wonderful experience! My husband and I stayed in the Red Room. The room was gorgeous and the bed was extremely comfortable. The host was very accommodating and was available when we had questions. I highly recommend renting this location for your vacation or special events!

This is a very lovely home. But I should have asked when they served breakfast before I booked. Unfortunately 9 am is too late for me and I guess that is the only time they offer. I was disappointed I missed out on the gourmet breakfast. My room was very comfortable on the second night after the vent/heating situation was resolved.
