I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Savannah 15 years ago. There are very very few Chinese restaurants in the area that I consider good. We found Happy Wok about a 6 months ago when one of our favorites no longer made great food. We love this place! The food is always excellent, the staff is always nice. It’s great to have awesome Chinese so close to home! The Bone in Spare Ribs are killer, I just wish their boneless had the same flavor. The vegetable fried rice is my absolute favorite!

I am giving 5 stars across the board because this was the only place open on Wednesday night after the snow storm on GA-21 off icy I95 exit. There are atleast 7 hotels that were packed and everything (including Wendy's , McDonald's, BK, Taco Bell, Zaxby's , Bojangles, Waffle House, Agave , and any other place to eat was completely shut down) THANK YOU HAPPY WOK !!!
I got sesame chicken , fried rice, boneless spare ribs, and all was delicious!! Highly recommend! Being from NY I couldn't believe how much was shutdown so happy to see their sign say New York Style Take Out Restaurant.

Decent food. Not the best but it will do for the area since there seem to be no good Chinese Restaurants around. Pretty clean inside and out. Food was ready really fast and there was no wait. Small seating area for dine in that looked clean as well. I would return to eat again

It’s pretty great!! Food is great and fast. The staff isn’t that friendly but I didn’t mind, because of the good food. The place reminds me of a hometown hangout spot, but isn’t as packed. Hidden gem.

Been going here for 6 years and have never had an issue, wrong order or anything. They food is so stinking good too! We love the fried dumplings especially.

I am conflicted, as my wok order of Singapore Noodles was excellent.

Shrimp Toast was the BEST I've ever had, perfectly fried, moist and crispy in just the right way.

However, the pork fried wontons were difficult. Chewy yellow wrapper, unchewable meat. Either days old before they were cooked, or way overcooked. A chewy mess that after trying two of the wontons, had to spit out just in case it was old. No plans to drive out again in the rain to attempt a trade in.
