Our stay at Hampton Inn was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. They are in the midst of renovations and our room had been renovated. It was very nice. The mattresses were new and felt very comfortable. All the linens were new and smelled fresh. It was very clean and uncluttered. The bathroom looked beautiful and fresh. I have no complaints about our stay.

Booked our one night stay with ease. It would've been nice if there were some type of banner or FYI of some sort that says that the hotel has construction going on- This would've been nice to know prior to choosing this property.
Pros- Location. Pretty central to the basics we needed; a pizza joint, a gas station, a drug store. Breakfast was decent. Enough towels for the three of us. Amenities were stocked.
Cons- At checkin, when I asked if I could provide incidentals deposit with cash, a simple answer would've sufficed, however, I was scolded for asking and cited hotel policy. It was the tone and the downtalking. We stayed in a room with a sofa bed and it didn't have any any linens, so we had to go to the front desk to ask, which is standard these days, no big deal. When we went to the desk to ask, so our kid could have bed linens, again we were met with that same condescending tone and "we don't usually give those out" and the whole snarky "what room are you taking this stuff to?" It's been a very, very long time since I've ever been met with this tone as an adult from another adult. The bathroom was dirty; it hadn't been swept. The second floor is going through a remodel, but there aren't any signs at the front desk advising you or the person checking you in giving you an FYI. We found out at 9am when the Sawzall and other equipment started going off above our room.
I'm sure the gentleman at the front desk has been doing this for a while and feels that his condescending passive aggressiveness is a seller for him, but its not. Some of us have been driving all day and just want to check in and make sure we have enough linens and not be scolded. If we knew each other on a personal note, your attitude and tone would've been met with the same from me, but you wanting to have some complex about being asked questions is all I will remember about this stay. Meet my tone and let me get to my room so I can rest, please.

Staff was really friendly , makes you feel like family . My only issue with the hotel was there was mold in my ac unit I am sure if I would addressed it to someone it would have been taken care but I just moved hotels

This was an extreme disappointment. We were staying here because our home burned down and the insurance company placed us here temporarily.

The good - the gentleman at the front desk was super nice.

The bad - The rooms were on the smaller side and the floors were sticky. The bathtub was stained it was just an overall underwhelming experience.

By comparison, we moved to the Holiday Inn Express right around the corner and it was like night and day! Their rooms are spacious, VERY clean, similar amenities, and just a much more luxurious feel. Obviously we live in the area so we wouldn’t ordinarily have a need for lodging, but going forward we won’t recommend Hampton to any of our family or friends.

173.00 for a Wednesday night.. plus charged me $50 for my pet. 223.00 bucks for dirty sheets.....
( You have to also keep in mind you never really stay in a hotel longer than 11:00 to 12 hours)
That's a lot of money for a half a day...
Titanium Platinum member for Hilton doesn't matter here.. they don't honor their own terms under which they proudly boast to gain customers and have no intentions to never honor them!
Do yourself a favor there's a lady that owns a great hotel right behind it very clean she only charges 84 bucks a night!

God giveth and God taketh away....
Maybe Hampton doesn't understand the blessings that they've been given!

So I had a pretty bad experience 3 weeks ago here....
Not bad just not honoring what people say they'll do

I received a message back from you guys stating you were sorry you would look into it rectify
I thought great...
I'll go back and give him a second try...
Everyone deserves it
I was just now charged by the front desk $50 deposit for my dog then $50 for miscellaneous items that could or could not be damaged
When I'm a diamond member ...
I just told the guy at the front desk Marvin
Does typically doesn't happen to me
He said he's worked there for years and knew nothing about it....
And wanted to argue with me more than help me....
Also took him about 30 phone call rings for him to answer the phone and then at the front desk I had to coax him out of his easy chair in the back...

Even if the amount goes back on my card it doesn't matter I've earned status with you that you shouldn't charge me for those things...

The service in this hotel is beyond horrible. House keeping staff is rude and loud. We wanted fresh towels to showers before checking out and asked one of the house keepers and was told with an attitude that we had to contact front desk because we're checking out. Front desk representative told us to leave our dirty towels outside and someone would be by to pick them up. Someone came, picked up the dirty towels but didn't leave fresh ones. So we asked the house keeper again for fresh towels and with that same nasty attitude she said she isn't responsible for our room. We called front desk again and someone finally came up and brought us fresh towels. I will never ever stay at this hotel. I will definitely post a negative review regarding our experience at Hampton Inn Waycross🤬🤬🤬. If I could I would give this place zero stars.
