Came here for a business trip. No complaints. The place did its job pretty well. Especially the staff, they were the best part. Thankfully I didnât have a bedbug problem. People tend to forget how incredibly difficult it is to completely rid of them. Especially with constant guests coming in and out with a lack of hygiene.
The style of the place isnât to my liking but that doesnât really matter when itâs paid for by my employer. Whoever was at the front desk in June 2024 did a great job with a few things that needed to be solved. Thank you.

We had to extend our room one day once we got there. Gave the lady at the counter our card and she said we were all set. The following day, housekeeping just walked into our room, no knocking. Then asked if we were still staying and we replied with a yes. Evidently, the lady who checked us in didn't add another day. After going downstairs to rectify the situation, we got our room extended. After that, the same housekeeping lady came into our room two more times without knocking. That was beyond unprofessional.

We were there for 3 nights 4 days and never had any housekeeping done to our room! My husband went to the front desk on 3 separate occasions and they never cleaned the room. We asked for additional towels and when we returned from army basic training graduation ( gone from 0700-1500) we found towels on the floor in the hallway in Front of our room đ¤˘. Also the pool was a gross green color and we absolutely did not swim in it. The entire hotel needs updating.

Positive: The price was decent & the room was very nice. We just had a few issues. Negative: The microwave did not work. We tried to warm leftovers and still after 6 minutes the food was not ready. The shower pull did not fully engage and was dripping water through the faucet.

I called the day before my arrival with some concerns. They assured me,â those reviews are not real.â Ha! Let me just TELL You!!
The next morning, a family member who checked in before I did called me and advised me to change hotels. I was driving, pulled over for nearly a hourâŚ
1st glance it looks clean enoughââ The place was dirty, the carpet, it smelled, and there was some mold concerns, plus smoking allowed on the 4th floor.
I then called the hotel and was super upset.
They refused because I was past the cancellation window to even hear me out that my kids had bad allergies and lung issues and I was very concerned for their breathing. When I say the carpet was nasty- it was nasty⌠I was told there was No manger on property and they didnât even know a hotel with a manager on property. I then called Hilton customer service not once but twice. All they did was call the hotel and told the same thing. Mind you I was offering to change to a hotel that was another Hilton and its cost was twice as much.
But my kids health mattered.
Both my other family member and myself had to go purchase sheets for the beds. Very dingy. Smelled like dogs⌠Iâm almost positive nothing had been updated or replaced in all the years the hotel had been built. They literally had tape holding the wallpaper up in the main area. The carpet was coming away from the wall in the halls and rooms. We were in a room that had a camera owl outside the window. And when we first come in it was facing forward, it then turned its head and was facing the window our entire stay. I ended up duck taping our curtain closedâŚ
The front desk was ok, my kids coughed the entire time and we are now dealing with congestion now that we are out of there. (Mold/ dander)
The place was wiped down- the room had been âcleanedâ but you can only do so much when everything is broke. And oldâ the carpet was AWFUL.
There was a tick in the bathroom.
If I was by myself itâs tolerable. But I literally smelled like a dog everyday. Pet friendly should be select rooms, Iâm pretty sure it was every room!!!
And I have dogs at home! But I donât smell like a dog daily.
To top it off, while I was on the phone with them before I got there they charged me for my room- 4 hours before I was even supposed to check in. And then held it plus an additional holding charge until yesterday. So that killed the ability for me to change hotels. I was going to stay in another Hilton! They wouldnât even transfer us!!
Iâll never stay at another Hilton again. We were beyond loyal to the chain. But this rats dump of a Hampton was awful.
At first glance- it will fool you- it looks okay enough,âŚâŚBUT you should have seen the pool. It was green, no warning that it wasnât functioning.
Do not stay here if you can avoid it, itâs right outside the main post gate, but the other side- where the Cracker Barrel is located, has better newer and cleaner hotels. I should not have to go back to Lawton, my kids should be done with training. But I promise it wonât be here and it will never be a Hilton chain again. They have totally lost our money and business

Please read the bedbug reviews before booking with this hotel . Unfortunately I booked through Expedia . When I later was advised to read the reviews, I was shocked to find numerous reports of bed bugs and no satisfaction from the customers. There were pics of dirty rooms and inadequate cleaning. When I tried to cancel, Expedia referred me to the hotel. Tabitha blamed the bed bugs on the guests. I guess they have not heard of bed bug protective mattress covers. When I asked for their specific policy on how they handle reports of bedbugs, Tabitha referred me to the manager who was conveniently not available. I cancelled my payment through my credit card. However, this hotel charged me anyway and refused a refund even though I never stayed there. I count my lucky stars that I stayed elsewhere, and did not allow this hotel to ruin my Thanksgiving. My advice is do not stay at this property and do not book with Expedia.

I am writing to formally address a deeply concerning incident involving my son and daughter-in-law during their recent stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Lawton. On the night of 4/27/25, at approximately 1:00 AM, they discovered a live bed bug crawling in their bed. This experience was distressing and has raised serious concerns about the hotel's commitment to ensuring guest safety and comfort.
After promptly reporting the issue to hotel staff, my family was met with skepticism. The staff was unable to find evidence of an infestation and appeared dismissive of their concerns. This lack of empathy and support left my family feeling unheard during a very upsetting situation.
Hampton Inn, as part of the Hilton family, has a well-established reputation for providing exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction. I believe the core values of Hampton Innâconsistently delivering a positive and safe guest experienceâshould have guided a more responsive and compassionate approach to this matter. Your commitment to guest safety and comfort is reflected in your policies and practices, which should include timely responses to health and safety concerns such as pest control.

Definitely not up to par compared to other Hampton Inne we've stayed at. A lot of general wear and tear in the rooms such as stains on the carpet and cracks in the sink. The poor maintenance crew stayed busy fixing leaks in the ceiling. The pool and hot tub had a green film, definitely needs a deep cleaning. No fridge or microwave in our room.
The bed was comfortable.
Both women who checked us in and out were not very friendly or warm.
