If you’ve ever dreamed of falling asleep to the gentle sounds of nature, this hotel isn’t for you.||The hotel is nice on the outside, and the website photos make breakfast look delightful. Perish that thought. I.T. W.A.S. awful! Fortunately, there is a tiny McDonald's within a stone's throw. ||Back to the trains ... I can only assume a locomotive convention was taking place at nearby RSU. As I lay my head down, a rumble and train horn jostled me at 10:30 ... then 1 am ... then 2:15 ... then 2:45 ... 4 am ... and at least 6 more shortly after 5. ||The windows did their best but asking them to block the noise was like asking a piece of tissue paper to stop a waterfall. ||On the bright side, if you’re looking to simulate life inside a drum while getting an extreme crash course in rail transportation schedules, this place is a 5-star experience. But if you value uninterrupted sleep, consider one of the following:|* investing in world-class, noise-canceling headphones |* bring tranquilizer darts|* book somewhere that isn’t directly across from Central Station ||Would I stay here again? Only if the trains unionize and go on strike. Try the Hampton in nearby Catoosa or Owasso instead!

Our experience today... Made prepaid reservations here on a 3rd party site. Arrived exhausted at 12:30a after driving 9 hours. K--n at the front desk looked for our reservation and then found a sticky note on her desk with my name on it. She said sorry, we cancelled your reservation--something about it looking fake. And now we don't have any available rooms "that have been cleaned." She said there was nothing she could do. I said we already paid for it. She said getting a refund would be between me and the third party site. She offered to make a reservation at another hotel in town but we would have to pay for it ourselves. So tired and frustrated.

Zero. They booked us on the 3rd floor and there was remodeling directly above us on the 4th floor.

We were woken by LOUD hammering on the floor directly above us because they were working on the floors.

Noone told us during checkin this was going to be happening, or this could have been avoided by a room switch, or we would have at least been aware it was going to happen.

Their response was "there's nothing I can do". And the staff member Jordan, was incredibly rude when we UNDERSTANDABLY were upset and refused to give me her GM contact info and only suggested we go through the corporate 800 number.

When I attempted to ask if this is how I can contact her GM, she said "I've given you options and you choose not to use them".

No ma'am, you are attempting to not give me your gm contact info. You are refusing to answer my question.

Yes, my husband was upset because she just shrugged us off. But not once did I raise my voice to her until she threatened to call the cops and did the childish "I'm not the one" response.....

Ma'am, your job is customer service and to find solutions, not just shrug people off.

I understand you weren't the one who failed to tell us at checkin, but you could have remedied this situation if you gave 2 cents about your job.

Definitely should have stayed at the Super 8 that my brother in law did...

They booked us into a room on the 3rd floor and neglected to mention they were remodeling the floors directly above us. They even tried to move a guest into a room on the 4th floor. The front staff was very rude and threatened to call the police when we brought our concerns to them at checkout.

I travel extensively for work (over half the year) and had the pleasure of staying here for 3 weeks. This property has it all: clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with nice new decor. Cookies and coffee in the lobby. For breakfast they have an extensive breakfast setup with waffle station, eggs, sausage/bacon and potatoes, cereals, yogurt, breakfast bars and pastries. There are numerous eating establishments within blocks of this location, including two grocery stores, Aldi and Walmart across the street. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. General Manager, Amber was awesome! Since other reviewers have commented about a train noise, yes there is a train that passes through town, but train whistle it's hardly noticeable. As for the train itself, it's too far away from the hotel to hear. Trust me, I would have checked out if it were a problem. You'll be glad you chose this property. HIGHLY recommended!

Booked the King Suite and room was amazing, very spacious and mostly clean. Only problem is that the bathroom was not clean, I had to wash hair off the walls and down the tub from in the tub. Honestly, breakfast was not the greatest, some of the hot food wasn't cooked all the way and in the 3 days here, they didn't refill the bagels or pastries so after the first day there wasn't much to choose from. Other than that is was a pretty great experience. We were driving here from Colorado and they were nice enough to check us in so the room didn't get canceled since they do their audit at 2 AM and we got there at 4 AM.

We originally were staying at the Laquinta and was supposed to be there for 3 nights. Left night 1 due to the disgusting rooms! Called Hampton Inn they immediately had a room for us ready. Even put us in a suite because the king rooms weren't quite cleaned yet. The rooms were CLEAN, SMELLED GOOD and felt like we were in our own home. AMAZING STAFF as well. They will definitely continue to get our service when we visit, if it stays like it was when we were there! So thankful for our trip ending with good sleep, quiet rooms and a clean atmosphere! Thank yall!

Typical Hampton Inn in many respects. Seemed to have limited staff since the same woman was in charge of the desk and breakfast room. We saw no one else. While breakfast was OK, it wasn't what we expect at Hampton. When we arrived before 8 several items needed restocking and once the woman appeared and we mentioned it, she promptly restocked them. The hallway carpets and our room carpet needed cleaning and the elevator floor was filthy.
