The hotel’s location by the lake is absolutely beautiful and a major highlight of the stay.

The newly trained front desk staff was kind and welcoming, which I appreciated.

However, for $300 per night, there are a few areas where the guest experience could be improved.

At check-in, I noticed the trainer sitting on the counter, which didn’t reflect the professionalism I expected. At the pool, having towels readily available would have been a nice touch. Breakfast options could also be elevated to better match the hotel’s price point.

In the room, small details like a squeaky bed, loose bathroom shelves, a dirty window, and the absence of blankets (only sheets cover were provided) made the stay feel less comfortable than anticipated.

With a few refinements, this hotel could truly offer a luxury experience to match its stunning location. I hope to see these improvements on my next visit!

We stayed here for 1 night while traveling home. It was a great location with a decent view. The pool was fantastic. Heated with a lake/river view. And the Jacuzzi was nice. The staff was friendly. I asked to change to a balcony room because I wanted a view. The front desk did it without question. I really appreciate that. The hotel was quiet I don't think it was super busy the night we stayed. The layout is a little weird and hard to navigate. I had trouble even finding the lobby from the parking lot. It's on the far side of the hotel. Breakfast was decent. Typical free hotel breakfast. But it had a lot of extras. Like hard boiled eggs and toppings for the waffles/pancakes which I'm sure kids would enjoy. It looks like it has a bar open on Friday/Saturday with beer and wine. The rooms were clean and kinda updated. The bed was super comfy. But it needed a thicker blanket. It was only sheets on the bed. And only 4 pillows for a king size. I'm picky I want at least 5. I definitely recommend this hotel. For the price and what you get along with service it was definitely worth it.

We showed up late night/early AM with no reservation. Karen put forth extra effort at 4AM to find us a room. She is a shining star/professional but personable. The room is CLEAN, no extra scents/clean AC Unit filter (asthmatic-super important for me), has clean toiletries, the grounds are well kept/clean pool & jacuzzi, doggy bags for the pup, free parking, view of lake, close to shops/restaurants but far enough to be peaceful! Blackout curtains, huge tv with great channel selection, comfy & clean! Will def be back! and housekeeping left enough towels for four people in the double queen room.(most places only leave two towels these days and you have to request more which is super annoying) Clearly this hotel values guests:) *Post stay additions. No blankets available-the temp dropped drastically and NO BLANKETS! No ATM either which I needed for cash tip for housekeeping. I had to run to my bank which was 10 mins away just to get $$ for a tip. Please consider an ATM-most do not carry cash anymore and since there is no way to add a tip on with the card.... no doubt housekeeping will appreciate that guests can tip more easily! Average guests will NOT venture out post checkout just to get cash!

This place is bad. It looks nice from the outside. Pool looks really nice, the lobby was nice. But we got to our room and it definitely wasn’t cleaned well, if at all. Everything is dingy and dirty. No trash bags in the trash cans, no hand soap for the bathroom. The slot for the refrigerator is all broken and falling apart. The refrigerator looks like it was wiped with a dirty rag. The beds are noisy and uncomfortable. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything. It literally feels like you’re in the same room as the people next to you. In fact, I’m writing this review as I lay here awake because it’s so loud at 11:00PM. I would expect a way better stay for the amount of money that we shelled out. Very disappointing.

This is an aging hotel with thin walls and thinner doors. Be forewarned that it is pet friendly, so be prepared for barking dogs. Also, "Lake View" rooms are really "Parking lot view with lake in the distance" rooms, though admittedly it's still a good view. The king suite was a bit of a let down as it adjoins the two rooms next to it, and the doors are thin enough to hear conversations fairly clearly. This caused loss of sleep as BOTH neighbors were up until 1a.

There really needs to be a clear sign directing people to their rooms on the other section of the hotel. I looked for one on the fourth floor and found none. Without the front desk directions I would have never found my room.

Breakfast was nothing special, just your normal free hotel breakfast with eggs, paper thin bacon, waffles, etc. It wasn't bad, though.

The stars are for the service. The service was top notch. I had an issue with a barking dog and was given a new room. I didn't complain about the neighbors staying up late because at that point I didn't want to change rooms again, so I just dealt with it. Staff was friendly, helpful, and sympathetic to issues. I felt welcomed and like they really did care about my stay. Location is nice and kind of out of the way, without being too far away from everything. I was able to walk to dinner in the dark and not feel unsafe, so that was really nice.

Rated this place a couple years ago with the same rating. It is just super disappointing to stay at a Hampton Inn in this run down. Hampton Inn used to be a Top Line Hotel so we stayed again hoping they had improved since last time. They have not improved in fact it's gotten worse. The only thing that was redeeming about this location was the breakfast and it was comparable to all the other two and a half star hotels around the area. Unfortunately they had so many issues. From the elevators being disgusting for the entire trip which means they never cleans the elevators(see pics). To the bathroom smelling like sewer, to getting a large suite with a king bed and a hidabed and lots of room (since we had 5+), but they only gave us two towels for all of us. Then when we called the front desk the phone ring of living room 30 times with no response. Then we called again and let it ring 30 times and nobody answered. Add to all of this the fact that they didn't know where the rollaway bed was so I literally had to search the entire four floors and three different elevators in order to find it, only to find it and see that it was absolutely disgusting. The carpet was gross and looked like it had been ripped in multiple places, the hot tub water stinks so bad that my kids joked that there was probably a dead body at the bottom of it. The pool furniture was disgusting and falling apart. Like I said pretty disappointing that this is called a Hampton. Stay here if what you're really looking for is a Motel 6, but then actually just go down to Motel 6 where you will pay less for the same experience.

Actually a decent hotel with nice spacious rooms and a comfy bed. We had a lake view but the lake is not particularly spectacular. Seeing the old London bridge is quite amusing. Good location and a good stopover place. Cha Bones is just a short drive away and a great place to eat.

the bed was comfortable; however, the room was horrible, whoever assigned the rooms, did a poor job, we had a window that overlooked a dirty side street, not even lakeside view or balcony. skimpy on the number of towels in bathroom, towels were not even standard size, as for the jacuzzi and pool area, my husband and i went to the boat parade around 7:00, stayed a few, got back in our room around 7:45, changed and went to the jacuzzi, we were not even in the jacuzzi 10 minutes before a brood of jr high/high schoolers in red windbreakers and pajama bottoms, came in, with them was a white hair grandmother wearing sweats and pajama top, another woman heavy set wearing a black swim dress, around 68, another wearing black and white checked pajama bottoms, coat grey hair in long ponytail, 3 other young women ages 18 to 20 one with dark hair, a loud mouth, the others blonde an light brown hair, wearing matching pajama tops and bottoms, with alcohol in their hands, and a elderly man dark grey hair, wearing blue sweat top and sweats, all preceded to jump in the pool, making loud noise, yelling, and screaming, another fat man wearing black and white pajamas and a green coat, proceeded to walk Aroun to pool, from outside the fence next to jacuzzi after texting these animals and proceeded to jump in pool, then they bombarded the jacuzzi wearing clothes and reeking of alcohol, and yelling, i reported it to a woman at a desk, they i know could hear the goings on and done nothing about it, also kids running up an down the halls banging on doors, toys in dining room walkway by outer door, pool towels not available by pool, and the ones the woman gave me were a joke. these jerks knew what they were doing, we couldn't even relax and enjoy the jacuzzi/they were grandparents an parents of these kids that were a team of some sort, what a joke. as for the concierges, they don't doo their job. WONT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN
