Communication is key!! I did the Online check-in and had the digital key for room 109 with an expected arrival of 4pm. I arrived a few minutes after 5pm, go to the front desk to request a key for my husband only to be told that room 109 had been given away, and I'm now in room 301. I open the app, and yep, I am now in room 301. BUT, room 301 is not ready, so she can give me room 218. OK, no problem as I prefer higher floors anyway. But I would have liked to have been informed of the room change before I arrived! I have been a Hilton honor member for a long time, and this is my first time experiencing this.🙄 Also, not too much around except some churches, a few homes, and a Waffle House.

I have stayed at hundreds of Hamptons across the US and they have ranged all over the place. This one is small it was not busy maybe 7 cars in the parking lot. Room seemed smaller than most I have stayed. I felt like some of the room needed a little TLC but overall was nice. The breakfast area was the smallest I have ever seen but it was ok. Poor older lady who ran breakfast had to be over 60 and had to do it all by herself. Super quiet place. I think they try real hard to make it nice and it is.

The bed and shower were good which of course are the two main things we reserved it. The hotel room needs to be updated and cleaned better. See the pictures. As a Hilton Honors member, I normally get a free bottle of water when I check in. I didn’t get one, but Barbara hooked me up when I called and asked about it. After the first night, we asked a housekeeper to just empty our trash, but when we got back to the room that night the trash was still there. He looked like he was going to take it out right then or go down to the front office and let them know. He didn’t.

Our room was not to the Hilton standard. The lounge chair and desk chair had large stains, the tub facet had a 2 inch gap between it and the wall, the shower head settings didn't work, a section of the floor trim was missing and the ceiling had cracks. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling next to the tub. I've stayed at lower star hotels that's were nicer.

This Hampton inn is older. Didn’t look as good as photos. Carpet fresh had been used on ALL CARPETS including carpet as you check in. We were very tired on arrival so decided to turn on the AC and see if we could tolerate it. I had my sinuses screwed up for days after leaving the hotel. This hotel MUST steam clean the rugs and never use a strong scented product again. Too many get allergies or headaches upon smelling it. The room appeared clean, although there was a hair on the shower wall. The beds were comfortable enough, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. Overall, if the manager will get rid of carpet fresh overwhelming scent, it’s a decent place to stay for the price.

The filters for the heat/air had tremendous amounts of dust, trim and base boards were full of dust in room and bathroom, and there was a large crack in the ceiling! Did not have variety for breakfast! However, the staff was friendly!

A decent Hampton off the beaten path but served us well for hurricane evacuation. They also let us checkin a little earlier due to the emergency situation which we really appreciated. Great southern hospitality as well. I did not have but the breakfast was ok as well. Lots of space around the hotel for fresh air and dogs.

Have stayed in this Hotel many many times. Excellent accomodations. Customer service second to none. Breakfast is first class. Highly recommend
