The background: my mom hadn’t seen her brother (ages 73 and 72, respectively) since Christmas. So we decided to do an overnight visit. My mom is differently abled (disabled) and is in a motorized wheelchair. |The arrival: We didn’t get there until very late, however Ms. Ellen greeted us at 10pm as if it was 12 noon. She was bubbly and helpful and even cracked a joke. I was tired and sleepy yet her interaction made all that melt away. She even stepped outside to inform us about parking and how to access the accessible ramp for my mom‘s wheelchair. |Breakfast/Departure: after Ms. Ellen had set the tone, I had expected nothing but excellence. and that is exactly what I got. The breakfast staff were very friendly and kept the breakfast full. The food was hot and I especially loved the bacon. After breakfast, we ask the front desk staff Ms Jane and Ms. Jenny if we could visit with my aunt and uncle in the lobby. They happily consented. My mom was able to bond with her brother a few more hours before we had to leave Columbus.||Lastly, I cannot leave out that Kiara from housekeeping was also kind and friendly, as I had to pass her housekeeping cart several times||One of the best stays of my life! |THANK YOU ALL LADIES!!!!

I forgot to take photos before I used the bed, so excuse the slight mess. This is the 4th hotel I've stayed at in Columbus and it's my favorite so far. Very clean room with perfect amenities and great location. My only complaint is the coffee in the room. More specifically, the creamer. Powder creamer packets are disgusting. I typically bring my own individual half and half though and there are two great coffee shops close by. I will definitely stay here again.
Also, do yourself a favor and get the app. You pick your room ahead, use your phone as your room key, no check in, etc.

Spent the weekend visiting my son who is in Army. Good room with decent view. Place was clean. Used the pool which was nice. Breakfast is your standard eggs, sausage and cereal Hampton Inn breakfast. The location was outstanding as you are near the river and lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Awesome stay. Great experience. Pool and tools were top notch. The best part was Xavier at the front desk. Superb!! He went above and beyond to make us feel at home and accommodated our needs. Poop was clean and heated. Thank you for a great experience

This is a downtown hotel across from the Columbus college and adjacent to local eateries/bars and shops. We were in town for my alma mater Point University commencement/graduation ceremony. The back door leading to the upper level parking lot has a step off to the right of the door as you exit. The problem is that the cement on the landing and the parking lot is the same color so the depth perception can be fooled if you're not careful like me who took a tumble not seeing the step. I've seen places have yellow paint on steps like this and maybe this needs the same. The hotel is very nice and modern. The free breakfast is the usual fare which you can't beat for free! We will book it again if we ever need to be in downtown Columbus again. Nice location, nice rooms, pleasant staff.

This Hampton Inn Hotel is wonderful! Upon arrival, Ally was exceptionally helpful in assisting us to secure our reservation for 2 nights, Christmas Eve and Christmas night. The room was spotless, bed was comfortable, shower had sufficient hot water, and plenty of towels were available. The only complaint I have was the television. Instead of operating by cable, it operates via wifi, therefore buffers continuously. We only had local access to Channel 3, CBS.
The hotel was nowhere near capacity, causing it to be very quiet. We didn't realize anyone else was even in the hotel until breakfast.
Shae, the breakfast host was AMAZINGLY helpful and communicative. His attitude was positive, he kept the dining area clean, and the food was replenished without asking.
Jane, the representative on duty Christmas morning was also friendly and helpful.
Checkout was flawless. From the housekeeping supervisor to the breakfast host, to the desk clerks, everyone was very personable and friendly.

The room was huge and beds were okay. The location is great. The breakfast was not good at all. The swimming pool tiny! Road noise near by was loud all night. The staff were nice, however, not knowledgeable about the parking and charged us extra for parking.

The front desk staff were exceptional—kind, patient, and always willing to help. Xavier provided fantastic restaurant recommendations, Jennifer offered a late checkout so we could explore the city, and Trinity even helped me locate my toothbrush after I checked out!

The hotel’s central location was perfect, just steps away from highly-rated restaurants, the Riverwalk, and historic attractions.
