I had read several recent negative reviews about this hotel. I chose to give it a try anyway because of its location and my past experiences with Hampton Inns. I have to say our one-night stay while traveling was very pleasant, The room was basic, but clean and fresh, with no scent of heavy air freshener that you sometimes find at hotels which are trying to cover up pet or smoking odors. The bed was comfortable, the HVAV system worked well, the microwave and fridge were clean, the bathroom was roomy, and featured a tub, which I had requested. The free breakfast offered hot eggs, sausage, grits, and waffles along with various pastries, breads, juice, and coffee. The only areas for improvement I found were the price point at $187 (incl. taxes) for a basic room, which I found high, and the front desk staff who could have had a little more welcoming tone. Overall, I was very pleased with our stay.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We chose this Hampton bc it was close to a medical appointment we had and a Hampton usually at least has a clean comfortable bed.
When we walked into the hotel it smelled like an Old Spice can had exploded in the lobby. It was overwhelmingly strong. The front counter attendant never even looked up when we checked in.
When we got to our room there were smells of stale urine in the room like a pet had been in our room and not been cleaned up after. Had we not had to be right there for an early morning medical appt we would have left.
When I went to take a bath a black ring formed around the tub when I turned the water off. I could not even take a bath. It was filthy.
I reported all the incidents the next morning when we checked out and this lady was at least nice but all I got was a “sure am sorry about that”
This was by far the dirtiest Hampton and worst experience we've had at a Hampton Inn. Save your time and go to one of the other surrounding hotels, but not this one.

Clean and convenient. Hardwood floors - no musty smell. Standard self-serve hot breakfast. Grassy pet walk right out back. Rooms are not soundproof, but people were quiet. Would stay here again.

I was attracted to this hotel because of the EV chargers on site. Having the ability to charge while we sleep is always helpful. The chargers worked well, and the hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was also good.

We enjoyed this pet friendly hotel.

Hot breakfast, front desk team is friendly and helpful.

There is a peleton in the fitness center, I was able to remote in to spin class!

Great location for hiking and amenities.

Customer service is very poor Only one elevator worked they started fixing the other elevator at 5 o’clock, 6 o’clock in the morning banging making loud noises one of the guest had a drug overdose on the floor that I was on. I asked if I could do an early check out due to the police surrounding and I was told no wasn’t offered another floor to move on or anything Was looked at like I was basically crazy, but I felt uncomfortable on them, finding a dead body and a room a few doors from mines and on top of all the it was a roach in the hall wall

Positive: "" Negative: There was an incident across the hall from me that required police intervention. The police were there for hours. I was afraid to leave my room. I overheard some things. When I was finally able to relax, and lay down the police knocked on my door.

Horrible holiday travel experience. ..I was charged pet fees 3 times after having to move rooms 3 times within 2 hours of check-in. 1st room had heat blasting, 2nd room fridge was broken, and the 3rd room also had heat that wouldn't turn off. Ended up in a room with a broken fridge(which was replaced the next day), but i was only offered a $20 discount for my inconvenience...get it together, people! I will not stay at Hilton brand hotels ever again! Thanks for ruining my trip!
