My recent stay at the Hampton Inn Buckhead was a truly alarming experience. The room was not only dated and worn, with visible burn marks on the carpet and poorly repaired water damage, but it also felt fundamentally unsafe. The walls shook disturbingly when neighboring rooms moved, and the soundproofing was non-existent – I could hear entire conversations through the vents and endured hours of a neighboring room's alarm. The bathroom door wouldn't lock properly, adding to the feeling of vulnerability.|Beyond the room's condition, the hotel's overall maintenance was shockingly poor. The breakfast area was stiflingly hot, the food quality was subpar (dry bacon, anyone?), and the entire building reeked of paint fumes for days. Basic amenities were lacking; we were provided with an insufficient amount of towels for a three-day stay. Adding to the list of issues, the coffee maker was inexplicably located on the floor under the TV, and the outside door had significant gaps, allowing light and sound to flood in.|Most concerning, however, were the serious safety issues. Upon arrival, a fire truck was present on site, creating a sense of unease. Furthermore, the elevators were out of service on Wednesday night, compounding the feeling of compromised safety. These incidents, combined with the general state of disrepair, made for an incredibly unsettling stay. While the staff were friendly, they appeared overworked and stressed, likely due to the challenging environment.|This is without a doubt the worst-maintained hotel I have stayed in for decades. The combination of poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and serious safety concerns makes this hotel a place I cannot recommend to anyone.

I loved staying here. The staff are wonderful, eager to help and nothing seems like too much for them. The rooms are clean and spacious in spite of being right in the middle of the city and breakfast is delicious with many options available. 10/10 would definitely recommend and revisit.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days and were very happy with our stay. The hotel is conveniently located near loads of great restaurants that you can walk to and the views are amazing. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection to choose from and the staff were also very friendly and accommodating!

Very friendly staff, rooms super clean. Lost of restaurants in the area. Would stay again when the weather is warmer to enjoy the pool. Diamon at the front desk was awesome. Vincent in breakfast was very friendly. Thank you, and see you all again soon.

Bed was comfortable but room would not cool down and the lighting was so low all throughout the room: just three small lamps plus the lighting over the entry area. The bathroom lighting was also low, making it difficult to see in the shower, and there was no exhaust fan so we absorbed the humidity from the shower. The breakfast was disappointing as well. I had just spent a week at a wonderful Hampton Inn in Greensboro, NC, and expected the same high quality but it was warm yogurt, overcooked sausage, and no waffle batter with an hour still to go for breakfast. I asked a breakfast attendant about other yogurt and another guest asked about waffle batter, and she seemed herself so irritated with the situation that she walked away and ignored our questions.

The hotel itself is aging but we had safe parking below deck and the front counter clerk was kind and professional. I hope they take a look at better lighting and exhaust options for their rooms and bathrooms.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast, while “continental” type was not bad at all and suited us each morning and was freshly stocked. The room was nice and somewhat recently updated including the bathroom however there was no dressers other than 3 wire bins. I found the bed comfortable. They have a shuttle which will take you almost anywhere within a 3-5 mile radius, but importantly to the MARTA station, the driver of said shuttle was helpful in advising of direction and pick up times.||Housekeeping is extremely lacking, we had a 4 night stay. Zero times they came to either pick up dirty towels or trash. I asked twice the front desk to have the room serviced on two separate days. We were gone all day sight-seeing so when we returned it was disappointing to see the lack of commitment there. Fresh towels were in ample supply however extra pillows were not available.

They artificially raised prices when working with our group faking a discount for us. We all cancelled our reservations. Only book through third party apps, you’ll get the best rate there.

On the phone they were very disrespectful and rude not giving a damn to explain why they had lied to us. Instead just go somewhere else, less of a hassle.

Great location, but this hotel is down at the heels. Looks to be one of the original Hampton Inn buildings but just never kept up. Cigarette burns and scuffs on furniture and doors. Everything looks like it was purchased second-hand from a hotel cast-off warehouse. Great location and great price point, and plenty of parking underground. Scores of delicious restaurants within walking distance. You can even walk to Lenox Square Mall on good days. But think of this more as a Red Roof or Days Inn in its current condition.
