We camped here in September 2024 during record-breaking heat... 114 degrees. The site is short, and we just made our trailer fit, I had forgotten to add the bike rack on the back of the trailer to the length of our trailer. It is best to over estimate your trailer length.

Pool is just the right temp. Bathrooms are dark. The rec room is warm, and it doesn't feel aire conditioned. Wifi is too weak to use even in the rec room.

Clean and convenient to stores and restaurants. Quiet too, except for some traffic noise.

Enjoying a week with relatives and the resort could not have been better! Great staff, pool, and laundry that is convenient. And not busy, feels like it being managed for us alone! They have a community room that is great for the visit. We will be back!!

I was in Gilbert for a 3 month job assignment, and stayed here in my class B van. The campground was great. Management is easy to work with, the residents are friendly, and the location is great. I would definitely stay here again.

Hacienda Solano is a trailer park that needs to decide whether or not it wants to be a RV resort. Though we found the employees and residents to be overwhelmingly friendly and accommodating, many of this park’s RV spots are best described as an obstacle course caused by recent addition of palm trees and white vinyl fences, causing needless access difficulties. A mobile home park with many trailers dating back to the 1970’s and 1980’s, it looks great aesthetically and is well maintained. It appears to us that an effort has been made to park as many RVs as possible into areas not occupied by mobile homes and park models—our RV spot was only 20 inches wider than our 8-foot wide mini RV. This, coupled with streets cramped by white vinyl fences made it extremely difficult to back into and park. It took both of us and two other experienced RVers over 1-1/2 hours to get our 8 x 22 foot trailer into a space that measured less than 10 feet by 34 feet (see photo). (But we had no choice as most RV parks in the Phoenix area were full.) The site’s width was needlessly small, between an 8-inch high concrete patio slab (very hard on aluminum trailer wheels) and a recently planted palm tree. Recently added white vinyl fencing and the palm tree (with LV lighting) coupled with cramped, narrow streets made this RV parking place needlessly hard to use. After we finally got our trailer into the space, we discovered that the sewer connection was under the RV as it was designed for mobile homes! Thankfully, a very accommodating employee crawled under our trailer and connected our sewer, but only after going to get two adapters for the unconventional connection. Later, whenever we dumped sewage, we could not open the gate valve completely, because sewage would come up from a second connection way up under our trailer! This site was so small that we had to park our F-150 pickup truck across the street, fifty feet away. And then, to add insult to injury, we were told to move yet another parking space away the next day because the office had forgotten that the parking space we were in was already assigned to someone else. In spite of listing and advertising stating otherwise, the only wi-fi Internet at this resort exists in the office/swimming pool area—and a very weak one at that. There is no wi-fi whatsoever at the RV sites, an expected necessity nowadays. Their web site also states “Large, Level Big Rig Sites” which are a rare find at this RV park. This is our first review of any RV park, out of hundreds nationwide, that we do not recommend.

It may be a lot of things but a resort is not one of them. We had made reservations for one night arriving on a Saturday. We were told there would be an envelope with a map and instructions in a box outside the office because the office is closed on weekends. When we arrived the temperature outside was 102 degrees. There was no box or envelope outside for us. We had to wait in the heat with our 2 dogs until someone answered the phone and gave us site number. All I can say is that this is the first time we were thankful to have a 17 foot travel trailer. The “ street “ was nothing more than an oversized driveway. My husband is an experienced driver with experience backing the trailer in. He had to maneuver back and forth several times to park the trailer. The sewer connection is in the middle of the spot. The only view we had was of the billboard I included a picture of. The nearby trailers were in disrepair. Obviously no standards for appearance. Not even a picnic table is included in this “resort”Extremely loud traffic noise ALL night long. We were charged $60 to spend the night in a dump. Definitely do not stay here.

The location is fabulous, the park is clean, quiet and well kept. Management is very responsive. Prior to Covid, management organized holiday get togetherness and activities. They still offer coffee and doughnuts on Sat mornings. Palms are always kept trimmed and everyone I have met in the park have all been friendly and respectful. The pool is very nice and quiet too ! Many home owners have been working on updating and maintaining their sites. We have been living here for 3.5 years and hope to spend several more.

Was there for 3 plus years paying $799.00 a month lot fee, in January of this year the lot fee went to $825.00 and 3 to 4 months later tried to raise the lot fee to $900.00 and 12 day's notice bottom line ,my family found a place for $500.00 a month and moved in 8 days my recommendations is to shop around.
By the way, the old man retired and gave the rains to his son, this is when all the problems started and since he took over the kid 😢 got married and there went the neighborhood 😳 and by the way on Wednesday mornings at the new place the coffee ☕ and donuts 🍩 are available for free 😀. Not at Hacienda Solano Resort they collect cans for coffee and donuts and charge you for the coffee and donuts, I hope that this will help you and your family's future hunting for a lot rental.

God Bless
P.S. a good tip in hunting for a lot or trailer check ✔ out the activities and events this will help you find the best place available. And 🏡 this will let you know that the owners care.

We needed a place to park our bus while my husband worked before we headed over to Wild Horse Pass Race track. This is a 55+ place and we just turned Double Nickel so gave it a try. What a lovely place. Quiet. Close to everything and the people couldn't of been nicer! We will definitely be back here again.
