Enjoyed our yearly trip to Rockaway. We booked last minute, and found a room at Sea Haven Motel. Our usual place was booked. It had great reviews and great location. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the guesthouse. Perfect for our family of 5. It was beautiful and immaculate inside. 5 bedrooms, each with its own tv! Big screen in the living room. Cute living and dining room area. 2 counters with sinks! This house has everything you needed! The hosts were super sweet, told us where we could find sand dollars, and gave my girls a few of their own. I think we found our new place to stay.

The guest house has plenty of space and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kelly was the acting manager when we were there. She was checking every day to make sure we had everything we needed. One small glitch came up and was taken care of immediately. My sisters and I get together once a year. Sea Haven Guest house was an excellent choice this year. I feel very comfortable recommending it for any large gathering. Thank you so much Maureen and Kelly.

Sea Haven's Guest House is superb and well worth reviewing. We arrived in January and stayed in the large 5 bedroom, 2 kitchen (!) unit for a ridiculously cheap price. Everything worked in the full kitchens and the lounge area had a TV with many, many cable channels and comfortable seating. Maureen at the front desk was a wonderful host and even gave us the choice of 2 rooms. She spent a while explaining the various attractions in the area and made helpful suggestions, an invaluable local resource and a friendly face which we greatly appreciated. After a fortnight of staying in motels this place was a breath of fresh air. I can't thank Maureen and staff enough for their hospitality. Highly recommended!

I have to say we have discovered this place staying in their motel with a LivingSocial voucher. I found that despite of the horrible shower outside, the room and the host were so accommodating we feel the need to come back. You host is your best friend in town, following you through all the places to see, helping you with all the need in your room. And our stay in a guest house was the same pleasure!!! Highly recommend the guest house - it's a great place to stay with the kids, a lot of beds, so everyone has a choice. Thank you, Maureen!!

We were upgraded to the Guest House. It would be a nice place for a family reunion, etc. They have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. The owner, Maureen was fantastic. She had printed out maps and showed us places to go that we would have not found on our own. Even though, we have visited the Oregon Coast many time, this was our first time staying in Rockaway Beach. We were not disappointed.

It can be hard to find a place at the beach for a large group of people. I recently visited this Guest House with a bunch of teenage boys on a fishing trip, and the Guest House was a perfect spot, and a good deal. Lots of beds, in a number of separate bedrooms, a large common area, full kitchen (with a couple of fridges) and eating area, two bathrooms. Not a fancy place, but functional, clean and neat. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful.

Staying at the “Guest House” at Sea Haven Motel for the next 3 nights. The best kept secret in Rockaway Beach!!! ||This place has 5 bedrooms (all queens), two bathrooms and a sofa bed for extra large groups. Just bring food, everything else is provided! Maureen has thought of everything!||There are 6 smaller units here also in the other portion of the property, and all are nicely accommodated, also! And, yes, pet friendly!!! Some even have washers and dryers. They will loan you their crab pots and supply you with propane cookers outside to cook them in. There are propane barbecues and fire pits to use, also. And, what a deal, too!! Very quaint and comfy!!

The location was great but nothing else. The unit is attached to a private residence to which there was no separation. I wandered into the private residence of someone else's bedroom and at night I had no way of locking that door leading to the private residence so that other person could just walk into our house. It felt very unsafe. It was also dirty.
