We came on a weekend. We were seated almost immediately. The restaurant is cozy and vibrant with their art and music. Salsa is made table side to your taste. It was absolutely fantastic. We ordered steak fajitas and a seafood mocojete. Both were absolutely delicious. Definitely will visit again.

The first dish, their freshly made guacamole paired with crisp tortilla chips, is nothing short of perfection. The guacamole is creamy, with just the right amount of texture from fresh avocado chunks, and bursts with flavor thanks to the cilantro, lime, and finely diced veggies. The chips are light, golden, and perfectly crunchy, complementing the guacamole’s richness beautifully. It’s a refreshing and satisfying start to any meal.

For dessert, their fried ice cream is a masterpiece. The crispy, golden shell encases a scoop of creamy, cold ice cream, creating a sensational contrast in texture and temperature. The delicate, flaky tortilla bowl adds a delightful crunch and serves as the perfect edible vessel. Lightly dusted with powdered sugar and paired with dollops of whipped cream, it’s a visually stunning and decadently delicious treat. Every bite is pure bliss!

Guadalajara's has truly mastered the art of creating dishes that tantalize the taste buds and leave you craving more. Highly recommended!

It was busy and we had to wait a while, but after thirty minutes I saw it at least three open tables and we were still waiting outside. Honestly, I was kind of disappointed, but things happen, so not everything can be perfect all of the time. Love this place and definitely love when they bring the salsa platter to your table and make it "your way." It's really, really good!

First time visiting this restaurant. First impression was good. The atmosphere is pleasant with cool e decorations. There was a short wait on a Friday night. Not too bad

We ordered table side Guacamole and salsa. Both were very tasty, especially the guacamole.

My son and I ordered the Mocaljete to share. See attached picture. Presentation was off the charts impressive. It had chicken, steak, shrimp and pork. It’s like a huge pot of ingredients for fajitas. We had enough left for dinner the next day. Both of us. The chicken in this was smoky perfection. The pork was my second favorite. Wonderful delicious dish.

We finished with fried ice cream. Very good.

I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a bit pricier than some other Mexican restaurants but the quality is higher for sure. The table side Guacamole is a nice touch. Totally worth it. I’ll be back my next time in Tucson.

Ivan provided exceptional service! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. The food was amazing, and Ivan’s recommendations were spot on. We’ll definitely be back, thanks to his outstanding hospitality. Five stars!

This location looks great. It's hard to believe it used to be a village inn. We were greeted when we walked in and sat almost immediately the place wasn't busy when we came in. A smiling employee came up to the table as soon as we sat down and made us our bowl of salsa. But then 25 minutes went by before our server came to our table to take our drink order. The only reason he came over was because the lady that made our salsa came to refill our chips and realized we didn't have our drinks still, and we heard her yell back to him in Spanish. The server took our drink order and then asked what we wanted to order for food. Normally, you would serve the drinks and then take the order, but we didn't care at this point. We ordered the lobster enchiladas and the stuffed salmon. Both were delicious, other than the salmon being overcooked but still good. We never did get our drinks refilled. When we were done eating, we sat for another 20 mins and had to ask the other server working the other tables by us to get our server to get the check. Really seemed like we were bothering him by being there. The food is so delicious, I'm sure we'll be back, and hopefully, we just get a different server. If the service is better next time I'll change the review.

Stopped in for breakfast! Such an interesting breakfast menu. Some regular options like waffles and pancakes and chilaquiles but some unique options like breakfast paella. Our server Victoria was super nice and helpful. We will definitely be back

From the moment we sat down, Ivan was an attentive and speedy host. We started with salsa and guacamole, both which were made tableside to our preferred spice level. "Caliente" is not for weak tongues! My mango Guadalarita (so big!) helped keep my mouth from burning too much. It had a ring of tajin that made the drink sing with flavor. My girlfriend got a molcajete with two meats (steak and carnitas). It was delicious and still sizzling by the end of our meal. I got the lobster enchilada. While smaller, its flavor was just as full and rich as her dish.
Guadalajara's was some of the best Mexican food we've had in Tucson on our trip. Don't miss out!
