My first time at this hotel and it was really nice! Upon checking in around 8pm, the front desk staff member was very friendly and accommodating! She made our stay very pleasant. The rooms were a perfect size. The only issue was the heating not staying on long. Otherwise, the breakfast was good and a lot of options. The food service staff, Connie was so sweet everytime! They also have bar area as well. Definitely recommend staying here and exploring the mountains! Thank you for an amazing stay.

During my stay here 12/6 - 12/8/2024, I had two separate occasions where the staff working at the hotel tried entering my room despite having a ā€œDo Not Disturbā€ sign hanging on my door handle. The first occurrence, I was inside of the room and it was hours before check out time, still in bed. I had to tell the staff ā€œnoā€, in order for them to leave. I promptly contacted the front desk and informed them of the situation, and was assured it would be handled. I spoke directly with the assistant manager.
The second occurrence, I came back to the hotel in the evening after a days’ work to find that the hotel staff, despite my conversation with the front desk and management, still entered the room while the DND sign was on the door after I left. I found out because there were freshly changed bathroom towels when I arrived. This was a major violation of my privacy, and the hotel merely discounted my stay *$13.00* and told me ā€œmistakes happenā€, without any additional form of compensation for their mishaps. This was their way of giving me the middle finger. They claimed the do not disturb sign was laying on the floor, and the cleaning staff didn’t realize it was mine. This happened after I had already brought the first occurrence to the manager’s attention. I had my personal belongings unpacked throughout the room and I am confident whoever entered my room that day was ā€œsnoopingā€, twice in one day is not a coincidence. Additionally, I was sold a tube of tooth paste that expired in February 2024. I brought this to their attention, and despite this, as I’m writing this review, they have still not pulled the other expired toothpaste from their shelves.
This hotel is more comparable to a budget, discount type of hotel that you would find in an urban city center, not in the White Mountains. There are old mattresses leaned on the side of the building, trash throughout. They have security doors on each side of the building, one of which has a broken hotel card reader and can be accessed by anyone at any time. I would never consider staying here again and would certainly never bring kids or family here, nor can I recommend anyone to stay here.

During check-in we requested from the front desk staff if it were possible to have a 12pm check-out. They said it would be fine. We received an email stating check-out time would be at 11am. Once again we went to the front desk staff but it was the night time staff. We informed them about the discrepancy and asked if we could get a 12pm check out. The stated that it would be fine. At 11am the next day, we start getting harassed by either housekeeping or the general manager? Still not clear on who was at the door yelling at me. They attempted to come into the room and yelled "housekeeping". I had just gotten out the shower and was changing so I was scared they would come in while I was naked. So I yelled out that we had a 12pm check out, she starts screaming that she didn't approve a 12pm check out and that no one told her. I told her that we clarified with two front desk staff and that they never said it had to be approved by them. She kept trying to get me out the room but I told her I was getting dressed. She then threatened me that if I didn't get out the room by 11:30am she would charge me a $35 fee. Horrible service. Jacuzzi and sauna are inoperable. I will never be returning to this hotel again.

There aren't many accommodation options in this town. Green Tree might be a reasonable option out of a lot of bad choices. The place is up to date, basic, and clean. Place is quiet. A no frills option. Would have been nice if the TV worked, but I gave up after resetting a bunch of times.

We stay here around ten-twenty nights, minimum, per year. The rooms are hit-or-miss in terms of upgrades and noisy hallway(it is a hotel), but have great beds, pillows, hot water, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with coffee. Last nights room was excellent, clean and seems to have been upgraded, usually the rooms are very nice. Prices vary wildly based upon the season, local events and night so prepare in advance, if possible.
Like others mentioned, today, and often, the pool and jacuzzi are closed. Though it doesn’t affect me as we don’t t utilize, users should be more considerate.
I like everything, including the breakfast. Breakfast used to be a bigger spread, bagels, pancakes, muffins, eggs, bacon, hot chocolate and much more. Seems like it’s been reduced to, eggs(I think powdered), bacon, some oatmeal packs, it doesn’t seem like it used to be,but free with the room so acceptable. We also frequent Johnny and Dee’s across the street, or Darby’s.
There is a nice selection of packaged food items, snacks, and sodas for those late night needs. Join the frequent stayer program and get one item free with your stay.
The location is great for us.
Frequent stayers get a 12% discount and no hotel service fee, well worth it.
Leha is usually friendly and professional.
I’ve never had a bad experience here.

I will never support an establishment that engages in religious discrimination! Some members of our ministry rented a room, paid as any other guest which offers use of the pool. We were going to do a baptism (takes 5 minutes that’s it) and they tried to kick us out and threatened to call the police on us. I also believe part of their motivation is racially fueled as the guests were people of color. This was an act of discrimination all around. I read through every bit of their terms and conditions and not at any point is anything mentioned about use of pool for baptism being prohibited. It’s no different than two people swimming and has no impact on the other guests, staff, or environment. Shame on greentree inn! I’ll be sharing this all over social media as well.

Do not stay here. We stayed on the first floor in Room 7. The bath tub looked like someone had bleed in it. I was afraid to say anything to Anne the manager because she was so rude when we checked in. She was yelling at her staff in front of us. We were there for our nieces wedding. Several friends and family were staying at the same hotel. We were going to meet for drinks in the lobby. As I approached Anne(manager) she yelled at me and told me we couldn’t bring drinks in the lobby. And if I didn’t turn around she would call the police. She could have handled things so much better. She could have approached us and told us since they had a liquor licenses guests are not permitted to bring drinks into the lobby. So unprofessional. She works in Hospitality. Clearly she doesn’t understand the concept.
