If you're looking for a classic bed and breakfast experience in a luxurious and beautiful Victorian home, you will be thrilled with your visit to the Great Stone Castle. This historic resort is managed and operated by members of the current owner's family and pride of ownership is evident throughout. The hospitality is genuine and we were made to feel welcome and like members of the family from the moment we arrived until the end of our visit. The custom breakfast is amazing and prepared with care by a chef who obviously loves what he does and making people happy. We highly recommend booking spa services to treat yourself during your stay. My facial with Andrea was among the best I have ever enjoyed, and my husband's massage with Violet was relaxing and therapeutic. We made this visit to celebrate an anniversary, but we won't wait another year before visiting again!

I went to GreatStone to celebrate my 30th birthday after hearing good things in a Facebook group I'm in. I did the Best of Everything package (four layer facial, 90 min hot stone massage, peppermint sea twist, and luxe hand masque), which included lunch, and stayed overnight that evening. It was amazing! Violet gave me the best massage I've ever had, and Andrea and Becca were so hospitable. The included lunch and breakfast were made to order and HUGE. The building is so unique and it was interesting to learn about the history. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get away!

We went for a massage package. Mother daughter trip. It was incredible! Just really different. Cute castle vibe, did not stay the night though. Lunch was included with our package and it was amazing! Greens were extremely fresh, chicken still warm and perfectly seasoned, croutons clearly home made and delicious! All toppings were in little containers so you could add what you wanted, tomotoe, hand cut carrots, cheese, mushroom, peppers, cucumbers, and super cute little cubby to eat. The massages were the best I have ever had. I had Randi and would recommend her. Absolutely amazing! My daughter's massage was also good, but she hasn't had many to compare it to so I can't state the best. I however get frequent massages and it may be worth it for me to drive 2 hours again....Facial was great. Felt very comfortable and it was just a cool different experience that I would recommend to anyone. Especially for a mother daughter bonding trip. Family run and owned which for me is extra special to know it isn't a big business and you are treated extra kind. It was a one of a kind experience and would recommend to anyone.

This place is amazing! We stayed overnight in the Windsor suite and decided to get a massage and eye treatment while we were there. The pictures do not do this place justice. Everything is so beautiful and peaceful. The wood furnishings are beyond compare and breakfast was delicious. Best pancakes I’ve ever had. Everyone in the town was so friendly and Andrea was such a sweet, wonderful hostess. Truly an amazing experience. We have decided to come back yearly. Thank you so much for a wonderful start to our vacation!

Gorgeous property with absolutely stellar spa services. My husband surprised me with a spa day here and I was totally blown away. I was a bit hesitant, because, to be honest, the decor in the mansion is a bit outdated. Still beautiful, but slightly cluttered. But the spa services were absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. The facial, body wraps, scrubs, and massages were all A+. Owners were very sweet and accommodating and the food was good. I would drive up from Cincinnati any time for a massage from Randi!

Was gifted, The Best of Everything spa package which was a four layer facial, peppermint sea twist, 90-minute European stone massage, and hydrating hand masque.
This was my first spa/massage experience and it was absolutely amazing. Andrea (whome performed my facial) and Randi (specializes in massage)were amazing! The Great Stone Castle is such a beautiful piece of history, staff was very welcoming and polite, lunch was delicious, and spa services were just wonderful.
I would recommend any of the services listed above. Sacrifice a few hours away from your crazy life and step back into time, to allow yourself to be pampered. You will not regret it!

We were a group of four ladies who did a full spa day. We were scrubbed, rubbed, moisturized, and massaged. And then topped off with a four layer facial. It was fantastic! The staff was incredible. We were also served a very delicious lunch. They also offer lodging in a beautiful and comfortable lodge on a lake that we took advantage of. The people we had contact with we’re so kind. I definitely will go back.

This is a gorgeous building. It was built as a private residence in 1895 and still retains many original architectural features. The woodwork is original and like nothing you would see in new construction. I had a spa package and Andrea and Randi were excellent. Breakfast was tasty and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend
