We stayed in the Grizzly Bear Suite, which has two bedrooms and was perfect for us. They had a deal a while back, and we grabbed it right away. The suite plus water park admission was such a great deal. The only downside wa that we weren’t really fans of the food at Great Wolf Lodge. They have a lot of options and try to cater to families with younger kids, but it just wasn’t our thing. There are tons of great places to eat just a few minutes away, so the location is convenient. It’s a great spot for families, and even teenagers will appreciate the hot tub, water slides, and lazy river. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and overall, we had a fantastic time. Our teens thought five days wasn’t nearly long enough.

We stayed there last Saturday and Sunday in a junior suite. The room are a little tired. The walls are banged up, as is the furniture. The beds and pillows were very good. We did food credits and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at The Lodge. Everybody was friendly and very helpful, especially the young black man in the arcade. We had a wonderful time and will be back, and looking for a cheaper deal. For 2 nights I paid just under 2k.

Been here a couple times now. Great place to bring kids that love the water. The wand game they have throughout is nice to wander around and give the kids something to do when the water park is closed.

Everyone is generally very nice, we had one mildly infuriating situation. I am part-time wheelchair bound, made our way down to the water park. Waited in a line, lot longer than the other days we attended. The security guard informed us that the kids couldn’t get in unless they had their, my wife politely said oh well they didn’t require them the last 2 days, he responded with a rude tone “well not my problem that others didn’t follow the rules, so go get new bands and get back in line” meanwhile I was let in as I was scanned first, I attempted to get in but nobody assisted in holding the gate open, there was also a chair blocking me from getting through the gate in the inside. I was able to reach over and toss the chair out of the way and make my way to the first set of doors where he stood and watched me struggle to carry my bag of belonging and my 1 1/2 year old. Through not one set of doors but two. When we complained all we were told was sorry some people take their jobs too serious. Not overly upset that the rule is or isn’t enforced but all he had to say was sorry but I do need those bands on so we can scan them. If you can go get them just come to this side and I’ll get you in as soon as you get back. Being mildly polite and professional would have gone a long way, with him not even helping someone in a wheel chair, through doors that don’t automatically open for someone, made it seem far more personal than just being a misunderstanding. So hopefully you aren’t wheelchair bound when you visit, although they do offer free wheelchair rentals.

Aside from that this is a very fun place, sad we won’t be coming back for a while.

Normally we love coming to Great Wolf Lodge but this experience was horrible.
They don't make you aware of a parking fee they recently implemented. The attractions were constantly closed down due to kids pooping and them having to clean it. Which I get accidents happen but add that to the fact that they are short staffed and have minimal life guards on duty and now that one of the attractions are closed the other ones are overcrowded. Definitely a safety concern. Not to mention these life guards look exhausted. 1 guy was in charge of 3 of the big slides, just running back and forth between them trying to keep the line moving.

Also, I guess quiet time starts at 11pm so if you have a next door neighbor singing karaoke at the top of their lungs while having wrestling matches and jumping battles don't try to call the front desk to tell them. Nothing will be done about it.

Save your money for something better. This place is going downhill.

Wow! I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. The service was amazing. Very well kept and clean. Kids had tons of fun and the food was delicious. I highly recommend if you can get a discount on staying there. We purchased the birthday package for my son and one of the balloons popped. I mentioned it to a staff member and they brought a new balloon to the room within 15 minutes. I’m impressed.

We loved our stay. Sonia, who was working the mini golf area, is an amazing person and was very helpful! Our daughters (ages 8, 8, 6) really enjoyed the Magiquest game as well as the other activities and especially the wave pool. There are many fun activities, such as story time, dance parties, and even yoga for the kiddos. Definitely a family friendly place and one of our favorite destinations!

We started going here when the first opened, it felt a little expensive for what it was but it was clean, people were nice and the kids had fun. Fast forward to Jan 2025 and the rooms are a bit beat up, but even worse they smell musty and the windows do not open (probably for safety) but regardless, you get a musty room with no ability to pull in fresh air. The breakfast buffet WAS once really great and has continually gone downhill to now be just about what you find in any hotel lobby, just more exotic. What a disappointment from what used to be a fun highlight. They say check-in is at 4:00 or when your room is ready, typically this means you might get your room sooner, not the case at Great Wolf Lodge, they are telling you that, after a long drive to get there, your room might not be ready at 4:00 (so a check-in time is a moot point) we sat in the hall for almost an hour after 4:00 until our room was ready. But don't worry, check out time is still promptly at 11:00, that time is SOLID! Games are overpriced and they don't always tell you what you're getting, or not getting. The mini bowl is expensive per player but... at least you only get five, not 10 lanes to bowl. Are you kidding me? Overall, after leaving in the past feeling like we would return again, this time at 2 nights for $600 ($40 resort fee, $15 parking and more) for two nights (and this was at a $99/night room rate) the place has just shifted downhill too much to be worth it in our opinion. If you have never gone, consider a day pass and enjoy the water park, but trust me, the hotel is a money pit and there is nothing exceptional about it. Stay elsewhere and save yourself a ton of money, frustration and disappointment.

Extremely expensive! We were left feeling uncomfortable one of the people working at the front desk who was pressuring us to purchase more passes for things to do and said “well, at least I tried” to my son when we declined. It was a very strange tactic. When I received a text later asking if everything was going well and if there was anything they could do, I told them about the situation and how we felt about it and they only said they would pass along the message and that was all. On a positive note, the pool was super fun and they did give us an additional hour for checkout, but it was definitely out least favourite place we stayed at in Arizona out of 4 places we stayed.
