Rooms were not bad, food crumbs around bed earing on the floor we nearly stepped on, but overall clean and laid out pretty well. The facility is amazing! The whole family had a blast from the time we arrived until we left. Early check in was convenient, was not expecting that, but from the wrist band door keys, to pools being clean and not as packed as I expected, IT was a wonderful stay and we plan to be back soon. It really is an affordable place in a nice area, with friendly staff. Everyone greeted us, facility is spotless everywhere, which is incredible considering all of the kids running around. Definitely a favorite!

I will start off by saying.This will be our first and our last stay at Great wolf lodge in sandusky ohio. I don't know where to begin first off the The water park is nowhere Near as big as they claim it is Rust on the equipment , the slide in the pool for little kids was chipping and falling apart the pool was slimy and so clouded that you couldn't even see the bottom of it.There was something all through the pool that has the basketball and log thing so wherever you walked it was like walking on pebbles. Next up is the rooms They need to learn how to dust The beds are awful they were That my family of four slept on the floor all 3 nights. After the first night they changed Our room to see if the beds were any better they were Worse. The pillows we had were toddler sized and lumpy. The beds were bo where near a queen size. I don't know If it's because we're on the first floor which is the floor whether the pool was on but the rooms had a musty smell and also smelt like at one point ppl smoked in it. The bathrooms are gross. If we were able to get refunded, we wouldn't never stayed as long as we did.We would have left early and cut our vacation short. Then they put a hundred dollar hold on your card for every night that you're there and Don't tell you until you're there.Which cut into vacation money. then turn around and have to pay Fifteen dollars a day for parking which is stupid that should be included In the resort fee. At this point we will not be going back. Nothing like driving 4.5 hours for that.

Place is a money grab. Went here for my daughters birthday because they had a 50% off discount advertised online, it only took $20 off the room for each night. At check in they couldn’t tell me what happened to the 50% off. There’s a “self parking” fee that’s $15 a day, invoice when I left said I was charged $15 for each day of parking and it was listed under “self parking”. Then I get home and look at it better and it says I was charged another $30 listed under “master card” the day I check out, called customer service and they insisted it was for parking. I paid for everything when we checked in and on check out day they tacked on more and more. I double paid for self parking and customer service lacked the competence to understand that so I didn’t get my $30 back. $35 “resort fees” that customer service said was for amedieties such as internet, tv and fridge (couldn’t even give us a microwave) as if the $500 you spend a night isn’t enough to cover that. Two bottles of water in their store costed $14, price wasn’t listed and I figured it wouldn’t be that much. On top of that the whole time in the pool we got yelled at because I was moving extra rafts off to the side in the lazy river because I was tired of getting squished by them, one lift gaurd made an ignorant comment because my 2 year old was having a tantrum by the water slide and I was trying to teach her how to wait like everyone else. Then in the kiddy pool area one life gaurd was walking backwards the whole time (we spend an hour in kiddy pool area and not once did we see her walk forward) and stepped on my daughters finger and she kept walking into other kids because she wasn’t watching where she was going. Got yelled at in the kiddy pool because we sat on the side guard things but other people doing it didn’t get yelled at. We came here to relax and have a fun time instead we got yelled at constantly in the pool area for random things we didn’t think would be an issue. We found hairs still in the shower when we went to get in, tv didn’t work and we had to call someone up, carpet in the room turned our feet black. We have a vacation booked in SC in summer with an ocean front room for a whole week for the price it was for two nights at this place.

Great place for kids. With the waterpark and activities available kids can stay busy all day. Wolf passes get you arcade,bowling,sweets and the magi quest(6+) It's an all day eventful place and can stay busy all day. Good for a few nights. Since recent it seems much more cleanly and organized. Recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights & had a blast. We took advantage of every part of the facility. We have a 5 and 2 year old and I think the waterpark was the perfect size for them but it is very small compared to other water parks. I would say older kids may not have as much fun. The waterpark closes at 8 but they have so many things to do. Very interactive, there’s a dance party, movie night, character meets & arts and crafts every day, all included. The arcade & food are overpriced in my opinion. There are many food places in the area which we opted for instead. Overall it was great, I wouldn’t recommend for older kids though. Also, be prepared because you may not get a good sleep. Very loud banging and slamming all night, I did report (normally not one to do this, as I know kids will be kids & teens will be teens!!! but it was so loud my kids kept waking up afraid and at one point wanted to go home bc of how loud and scary it was for them & we debated leaving one night earlier than what we were supposed to) & it stopped after 2:30am-ish & management was super helpful & generous in this matter so no complaints there. We would come back while the kids are still younger. I don’t think it’s worth the $100 weekend day pass though!! If you spend that much, stay overnight & enjoy everything else it has to offer. I hope this helps!

I've never seen a company run this well! The customer service is impeccable! The cleanliness of the entire resort is unmatched! They literally come in after you in the bathroom and clean them. Everything is run like a well oiled machine. The minute we got to our room our child accidentally stuffed the toilet and the toilet was rapidly overflowing. We called the front desk and a maintenance guy was at our door within 10 minutes followed up by the house keeping crew. I was shocked at how fast it was cleaned up and taken care of. It's a very expensive trip! But they make it worth it. You literally have fun the moment you step in the lobby. They had a production on stage in the lobby the second we got there. The kids were given bells to keep and shake during the performance. The gift shop gave us free wolf ears the second we got there. There were approximately 200-300 or more people there on a Thursday. It was impressive the amount of details they provide for a fun experience for the whole family!!

Family trip was a success. Room Rates were affordable for the quality of the room. Great customer service throughout our entire stay. The location was great, it was right off the highway Near plenty resturants/ attractions!

We only stayed 1 night and did the wolf pack. It was well worth it! 2 nights here would be worth it too. The staff was really nice & accommodating. We got to enjoy every activity and never felt like there was a long wait for anything! The hotel was clean, prices were reasonable, & the eat in breakfast buffet was good too! I really like the convenience of this location. My only recommendation based on other reviews is to read all the details when booking. We cannot wait to come back! The kids had an absolute blast!!!
