Had the Elk Burger and the All American Buffalo Burger. They were phenomenal!! The beer cheese soup and the macaroni salads were great sides that paired perfectly with the burgers. Lunch starts at 11 make sure you get there early because it's a small dining room that fills fast!! Also make sure you get the Huckleberry Delight for dessert or you are missing out.

This place is amazing! You can tell the food is high quality. The service is fast and very friendly. We were visiting and the waitress told us some great places and views to visit. They also use clarified butter on the grill and not vegetable oil. My husband had the soup of the day and the elk gyro. I had the blackened buffalo burger without the bun. Everything was very filling and not too gamey. There is sitting indoors and outdoors.

If you’re visiting Glacier National Park, do yourself a favor and stop at Great Bear Cafe in Hungry Horse! This cozy spot was one of the highlights of our trip. The food tastes like it was made with love, delicious, hearty, and comforting.

We tried the soup and sandwich combo, quesadillas with crunchy chips, and finished off with the creamiest berry dessert and a massive homemade cookie. Everything was full of flavor and felt just like a warm hug after a day of hiking in the mountains.

The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and the service is super friendly. The ladies who work there are incredibly sweet and welcoming, they made us feel right at home!

Perfect stop after exploring the beauty of Glacier. Highly recommend!

We were excited to visit here based on the reviews we read. It's a tiny place a block off the main road and right across the street where we were staying. It was busy, so we had to wait to order, but we needed the time to review the menu and decide which of the really interesting items to choose.

The staff is really friendly and was able to accommodate our large group. We decided on the elk burger and truffle burger. The elk burger was amazing. The burger was tasty, the bacon added the bit of fat you expect as the elk meat is really lean, the spinach added a unique flavor as well. And don't forget the broccoli salad. Yum.

We both enjoyed a breakfast sandwich made with homemade biscuits, egg and sausage. Was an average breakfast, sausage was quite mild and the biscuits were good.

I had the Huckleberry Elk Burger and my husband got the Blackened Buffalo BBQ Burger and they were both phenomenal! Well worth the price (we have paid the same or slightly more for a burger not even half this good on our trip). The service was outstanding, truly friendly staff, and the atmosphere was inviting and cozy. Highly, highly recommend coming here to dine!
