We celebrated my Mom's Birthday this past weekend from Friday, 3/28/25 - Tuesday 4/1/25. The staff was very professional and accommodating for someone who is disabled and ensured we all had what we needed during our stay. The king-size joining rooms were a plus and extremely clean with spacious room bc we were able to use a roll away bed in the room.
However, I should have inquired if they had Ada approved rooms, as that would have been my first choice. However, it was some cheerleaders competition going on and rooms were totally booked. You gave us an experience my Mother & my family will never forget. I only wished that the pool was available during our stay. That's my only issue. We will definitely return again. Thank you so much, Grand Pequot Hotel, for a memorable time & stay. God bless you all. 😊

It’s so clean and peaceful in this place. Just so relaxing I love how it looks inside and out very beautiful. Have the casino inside in case you want to gamble but the best part it don’t smell like cigarettes everywhere you turn. That’s amazing they keep that stuff out of here I believe they have a designated area for that.

Excellent..from VIP check in to check out!|Lots of dining, shopping and Top Casino.|Favorites were: Hells Kitchen. Black jack table. Lots of shopping. Organized breakfast buffet that included an omelet station. |The only con was the cocktail server who took too long to bring drinks. ||Can't wait to be back.

Not a great experience. First time at Foxwoods. Attended a show with family. My wife and I stayed overnight at the Grand Pequot Hotel. There are 12 stations at the reservation desk. Three were staffed. I understand. Good help is hard to find. A lengthy wait to check in left plenty of time to notice the first of what would be a series of observations that this hotel is aging poorly (Going on 30 years old). Looking up at the 30-foot panels behind the registration station, I saw dust build up waterfalling over the edges. I get it. Good ladders are hard to find. At check-in, I learned that reservations made MONTHS before for a smokeless room were not honored because "other people checked in before you." Oh. OK. Two pre-check-in requests (@$50 per request) and three separate MPT Occupancy tax fees can't get me a smoke-free room. Disrespect is included in the price. Twenty-two hundred rooms and no smoke-free rooms left at 6 pm. Sure. Get to the room on a smoke-stinky 18th floor and there are paper scraps on the floor, Bureau drawers dinged and not repaired. The toilet paper holder falls off the wall. Worn carpets that look like people shook the mud off their shoes in front of every room door. OK. I get it. Maintenance is a detail that can't be efficiently addressed with more than $110 in resort fees, occupancy taxes, and room fees added to an already overpriced room rate. Look, I wasn't expecting Four Seasons in the middle of the Connecticut Woods, but I certainly was expecting something above a Maple Tree Motel experience for the prices we paid. Unfortunately, that's what we got. We don't gamble. We do go to shows. We won't go to another show at Foxwoods. Not on a bet.

This has to be one of the worst experiences we had at a hotel. It took 3 check ins to get into the correct room. They checked us into a room that was already occupied. We returned to the front desk, only having to wait again in a long line. Then they sent us to a room that had the toilet seat ripped off of it and it was filthy. So, we returned to the front desk, having to wait (again) in a long line. We finally got into a room that was just okay with $50 off. That wasn't enough concession on their part but I wasn't going to argue at that point. It took a couple of hours from the moment we first arrived to actually get into our room. ||Everything is expensive and not good quality. The pool closes at 6, there is unpleasant odor that makes it feel not clean.. Elevators were out of order, poor signage if you don’t know the place. Just not a good feeling. We will definitely not return. What a major disappointment.

Got to room and one of our key cards wouldn’t work to unlock the door. No problem, as our other card worked. Room was just ok. Nothing fancy and really needs a total remodel. Dated and tired and not sparking clean. When it was nearing checkout time we went back to the room to get our stuff. We had an hour before we had to checkout and neither of our key cards worked so we were locked out of the room. Housekeeping was of no help when we told them so we had to go down to the lobby in an elevator with a gross sticky floor to let them know. The woman could have cared less and said you must have put the cards near your phone because that causes the card to deactivate. Wait what This made no sense at all and I really think she made it up. Very unapologetic and annoyed she had to give us new cards. I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

My husband and I reserved a room at the Grand Pequot for the weekend of February 14th 2025 back in November. However the room that we were put in the furniture was dusty, the seat near the window had stains on them. The mirrors were filthy. When we were checking out on the 16th I asked the woman at the desk if we could make reservations at either Fox Tower or Great Cedar for July 11th and was told that there was no availability for that weekend. I ended up calling to make reservations and was informed that there was availability in the Great Cedar and successfully made the reservations. We love coming there but I was a little disappointed.

Really didn’t sleep, there was some kind of restoration going on in the room next-door with some sort of a flood, the staff tried coming in my room when I had the door locked, they said they were checking to see if my room was flooded. They used wet vac, etc. For over an hour and then put on a machine that takes the oxygen out of the air, so I couldn’t sleep. Maybe I should have said something, but I didn’t feel like getting out of bed, when I told the front desk staff at 5:45 this morning they talked to the manager Adam and he didn’t come out and apologize or anything. They just said he took off a resort fee, just disappointed also the room didn’t smell that great either, I felt Management could’ve done better
