The room was okay.

No sign of any bugs (from previous reviews). But the sheets, blanket, and pillow all had stains. While they seemed clean they certainly didn’t make us feel clean.

But I’m not sure where the friendliness or good customer service was. We were going to pay on our card for our room, and we’re told we needed a 100$ CASH deposit for damage. Not sure why they couldn’t put a hold on the Credit card instead? It seems like there was one issue after another.

Next time I’ll pay a little more and get a nicer hotel. It will be worth it for the clean stain free-bedding and good night sleep.

So the place is cheap. Good for travelers on a tight budget. That being said, I’d rate it a one star due to the cleanliness of the room when we checked in. It smelled funky, it was clear it hadn’t been vacuumed since the last guest, there was a mess in the fridge, broken glass on the accent chair, and blood on the bathroom floor. The thing that saved my rating was the customer service, which I’d give five stars. We didn’t feel comfortable staying so I called the guy at the front desk to see if we could get a refund. He said he couldn’t do it for the first night since it was a no cancellation reservation, but said he’d take off the second night and give us a different room. We didn’t want to stay but we’re fine with the partial refund. He came up to our room to see the situation as we gathering our luggage and upon seeing the mess, ended up giving us a full refund, for which we’re very grateful. If they could just get house keeping to do a better job it would be a decent enough place to stay on a budget. The ac worked well and the bed seemed comfy.

First the good points: fairly priced, great location, comfortable clean room. I did not give 5 stars because the wifi stinks. However I was able to get a 5G connection with my Verizon phone so I could use it as a hot spot. Also, after 3 days, I had no room service. I asked if room service was included and the front desk person said 'I forgot to tell you that if you want room service you have to tell us when you are not going to be in the room'. Very strange.

My friend and I reserved this Hotel for 2nights so we could visit the AZ Renaissance Faire. We arrived after midnight, no problem. Door was locked but there was staff to let us in and do the check-in. Parking is in front of the building and easily accessed. This is an older building that i don't mind , however it does not have an elevator. You might want to ask for a room on the ground level if you have heavy luggage or just don't want to go up one flight of stairs. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Fridge , coffee maker , microwave and hairdryer are in the room. the also had some soap and coffee in the room ( i don't care about it as i always bring my own shampoo and such) . Towels and bathroom were also clean (major point for me) as well as the bedding. The Heat/AC functioned properly and there is a small TV in the room. Beds are comfortable and not worn out (YAY no back pain). Breakfast is offered but very limited (think coffee, OJ, toast ,waffles, some donuts and 2 kinds of cereal ) . again not a big issue for me as i am not a breakfast person so a cup of coffee and a waffle was sufficient for me. I usually also travel with my own coffee maker when i travel with my car lol . The staff is very kind and friendly and all in all this is a nice place in a very good location (close to freeways and there is food for dinner across the street ). The only slight downside is that because its an older building, it smells a little bit like grandmas house but by far not terrible and we found out that if the ac or heat is turned on, it disappears .Our room was very roomy with the 2 double bed option.even had a table.

we just recently stay one night paid in cash for two nights with a $100.00 deposit. we were very disappointed. we had stayed here a few months ago and it was great. so we came back again. this time it was a very horrible experience. we had stayed in the room like your own apartment across from the main entrance. loved the room. this time they told us only people staying a week could use those rooms. so we got a room inside (no elevator). the beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were two per bed and hard and flat as a rock. the coke and chips machines were not working, the pool hadn't been cleaned so they were not opening it up to be used. so we decided not to stay a second night. they would not refund our money and even called the police on us. told the police they don't give refunds. police told us to stay another night since we paid already but we said no way. we did get the $100.00 deposit back. they said they were under new management seems to me they need to hire new people to work the offices. the two people (a woman in the beginning and a man when we left) we had to deal with were very unpleasant and even had a pit bull running around loose while we were in the hotel. until they hire new people I wouldn't advise anyone to stay there.

My good friend and I came in from out of town for a weekend stay so that we could check out the AZ Ren Faire. We arrived into town very late and the front door was locked. They have a doorbell and the front desk let us in after buzzing. It is in quite area other than being close to the road. This hotel does not have an elevator so if you are disabled or cannot do stairs, best to ask for a ground floor room while booking. The room we had, had 2 double beds in it. As someone over 6ft tall it was comfortable even though I had to sleep somewhat sideways. The beds did not hurt my back at all and were clean. I would recommend bringing a pillow of your own unless you like super soft pillows. The room and the place had a smell (not really in a bad way) kind of like grandma's house but went away if you turned on the heater/ac. I would definitely stay here again if we come through to go to Ren Faire or even to go Salt Water Tubing in Mesa.

It was not bad actually it was very clean compared to most other hotels around this area. The only problem on hands at that time was that the ice machine did not work at all the whole time I was there. Price wise is okay but they do require a $50 deposit and check out is at 10:00 a.m. crazy what happened to 11:00 a.m. all in all one of the more decent main Street motels.

I was in a situation where I had to get a room for a little less than a week. The first night was great. The second I asked the lady up front if I could have the price they had posted online and she told me no because I had a double bed room. I asked if I could have one of the single bed rooms they had posted on price line and she told me no that they are taken. well I can tell you first hand that all day those rooms were still posted on price line. and 2 of them we still available the next day. anyways I told her whatever I'll pay that for one more night. So the next morning I booked online and went to ask her if I could put my stuff in the new room since checkout is at 11 and check-in is at 2 . She told me because the people in the room might book again that I would have to take my stuff out of the hotel until it's time to check in the new room. And then had the guall to say well all you Americans are filthy rich. because she was tying to get me to stay in the room I was in. well $10 cheaper makes a whole hello of a lot of difference if you don't make much, like at least 3/4 of Americans. And what I don't get is if I booked a room, how the hell would the people in it right now be able to stay in it I'd I've already paid. Long story short the lady up front SUCKS!! Her husband on the other hand is very nice and I have never had a problem with him...
