We had the most lovely experience booking the whole service! From the little town and lovely hotel, to the staff such as Noelle who hosted the train ride for us at the upgrade section. She made the experience super cool! As well as the singer and “robbers” We loved every moment, it was a clean hotel, and they created a beautiful train ride experience which lead us to the Grand Canyon which was also toured by bus which was a blast!

We typically steer clear of "touristy" accommodations, but we wanted to take the train to the Grand Canyon and we took a chance on this hotel. While it may not be the most grand or luxurious place to stay, it is very well appointed and very, very clean. You can tell that the people who work here take great pride in this hotel and that providing a great guest experience is important to them. I really can't find anything to complain about. Easy access the the train, and just across the tracks from great restaurants in downtown Williams. Excellent way to experience the Grand Canyon in a fun, family friendly package.

We went on the train and had a wonderful time. The Observation dome was perfect for our needs; I didn't get motion sick and we had plenty of room to make ourselves comfortable. Gina, our train hostess, was fabulous and we loved the musicians and theatrics.

I found the Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel when looking at Grand Canyon trips to take my disabled son on, and discovered they did a Polar Express trip for Christmas and oh my gosh! I cannot wait to come back! We spent the extra money to do the trip on Christmas Eve, and I am so glad we did! They do extra on Christmas Eve since it's the "actual" night of the story and we really had a magical time with my son. He had so much fun and absolutely went ham on the cookies that they give out during the train ride. The chef's that run each rail car did an amazing job as well. The staff in the hotel, restaurant, and gift shops were all so kind and they really did a great job making sure that everyone had a nice time. We will definitely be back for more adventures with them! ||||I also love that you can book packages that include your adventure, the hotel, and meals in an all-inclusive package. It makes everything so much easier and much less stressful. Their prices are also extremely reasonable when you factor in all the things that they provide.

10/10 recommend! ||This was a last minute adventure and oh my golly did we have a great time!! ||We took our 5 and 9 yr old boys on the Polar express train. ||The Fred Harvey restaurant had a yummy turkey dinner and my boys loved watching the model trains chug around the sky track. The train ride itself was a fun adventure into the Christmas night. Santa appears as the train car sings Christmas songs and Santa hand delivers each rider a silver bell. The cute little town itself seems very fun and Christmas themed I wish we would have had another day or two to explore. We will try to go again next year!

What an amazing experience. Fact - I’m a grinch. Fact - this place took that right out of me. From start to finish this was about the coolest Christmas experience I’ve had in my 45 years of life. The hotel is super neat and Williams is a groovy town. Those things alone make it worth it. That being said, the fact that there were about 100 people lined up to check in and it took about 20 minutes to get through was a miracle. (Busy as it was for the Christmas Polar Express ride). The train ride was perfect. Such beautiful landscape, so much fun singing and listening for story, all the lights, sunset. Amazing. The two kids leading the show on our train car were super humans. Brilliant hires. They also threw in free dinner and breakfast at the buffet. Buffets are hard to get down. The food at this one was actually good. The only complaint was that they were out of so many items way too often. I’ll give them credit though as again for the event it was packed beyond expectations. Everything about the place and experience was amazing and I left with a new found love for Christmas, this location and Williams. Can’t wait to do it all again next year.

The railway was awesome, but the stay at this hotel, not so much. The beds were super duper uncomfortable. We kept hearing trains throughout the night, and me and my family had terrible sleep. Before we went to sleep, we went to the restaurant they had in the hotel. The food (pasta) made me feel sick. It made me have a headache and a stomach ache. It also made me feel nauseous. Luckily I was fine in the morning. Me and my family were really disappointed because we paid extra money for premium just for a horrible experience. I think the normal price will give you the same experience. Don’t buy premium or any additional perks they give you.

The customer service was outstanding every step of the way and the experience exceeded expectations. The Wild West show and entertainment on the train ride was a nice touch. Food at the restaurant was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. Due to flight delays, we arrived too late for dinner the first night, and the woman who checked us in changed our voucher so that we could still use it when we returned the following day.
