I recently had an amazing stay at the Golden Spur in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I arrived, the owners made me feel so welcome with their kindness and warm hospitality. They truly go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a fantastic experience. The room I stayed in was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly well-priced, making it an excellent value. The attention to detail in keeping everything clean and cozy really stood out. If you find yourself in Sallisaw, I highly recommend staying at the Golden Spur—don't forget to ask the owners for recommendations on things to do in Oklahoma; they're super knowledgeable and eager to help you make the most of your visit. I absolutely loved my time there and will definitely be back!

Very friendly. They helped me unload and load my car. I just wish the curb wasn't so high. They need a couple more ramps for people that have problems stepping up on curbing. Even at the office. Gentleman did assist me though.

I'm always amazed at the people in these reviews (negative) of motels in this category. Currently in my $60 room, it's straight, in working order and clean enough.

You can catch more flies with sugar than salt. I cordially asked the lady at check in (which was smooth and timely) about the amenities and she assured me that it was everything I requested.

This is not a Hilton property, don't get it twisted.

Best place I have stayed. Carpet was clean. Both beds made neat and looked fresh. Paint very good inside. Lavatory and tub clean and looked good. This could have been freshly redone. It was better than a 90.00 dollar (for $46.00 including tax ) that I stayed at. Fridge, microwave, tv, a/c, two full beds. No signs of bugs,etc. Even behind furniture.

Very nice owners. Check in window is open 24/7. And they attend to rooms every day. A few rooms could use some upgrades but overall if you're in need of a overnight stay or just passing through this place is as good as any

We stopped to check out a room. We walked in the room smelled super bad & we immediately saw a bunch of roaches climbing on the bathroom walls. We immediately turned around and left to go back to talk to the front desk. When we told he owner about the bugs we saw he acted surprised & denied they had bugs. I got news for him but you don't get that many bugs & that big of bug unless they have been there a while. DO MOT STAY HERE IT IS TOTALLY GROSS.
