We stayed here Memorial Day Weekend 2025, in the Cozy Pine room. This being our first Bed and Breakfast experience, they have set the bar high. The house was beautiful and well maintained. The room itself was just as nice. The property was out of a movie scene. The breakfast was delish! We mostly encountered Darrin who was as nice as can be. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the winter time to experience the different season.

5-Stars across the board. Darrin and Amy have created a homey and welcoming environment. The staff, Cadence and Toni,
Were so amazing, so nice and helpful. We stayed in Bessie's room and it was lovely. They have thought of everything, from the little things in the rooms to the well stocked (lots of included snacks and hot chocolate) and equiped quest kitchen. The common areas are super nice. Pool table, games and fireplaces. There is plenty of space so you can either hang out with other quests or find a nice alcove to read a book. The grounds are very nice and relaxing to sit on the large deck in the morning. We loved the location. A quiet neighborhood away from the bustle of the village, but only 10 minutes away, with easy (2min) access to some very nice walks in the forest. The breakfast was wonderful. They are very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Definitely worth a stay while in Big Bear.

My daughter and I had a wonderful visit! We loved spending time in the cozy cabin. Board games, puzzles, books, and lots of yummy snacks! We lit fires and enjoyed spending time in the cabin’s various nooks. Also a fun yard area to run around and swing on a wooden bench. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts (Darin and Toni) were friendly and accommodating. We cannot wait to go back. We love the Bouquet room!

We had a wonderful stay and experience staying at the Gold Mountain Manor. We have stayed at many highly rated B&Bs and this one definitely ranks as one of the best we have experienced.
The room was well stocked, and cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast served by Toni.
We are definitely visiting again.

We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed every bit of it. The hosts were very welcoming, and had lots of activities available for their guests. Breakfast was freshly made every morning, and allowed all the guests an opportunity to meet each other and interact. The room we stayed in (Cozy Pine) was very homely.

Darrin and Amy (and Toni!) provided my girlfriend and I with an amazing weekend experience! The accommodations (Ted Ducey Suite), the morning breakfast and kitchen area (with snacks, hot chocolate, popcorn and other goodies available 24/7), the lobby (with an old Victrola that played wonderful classical music from the Crosby/Sinatra era), and the huge wood pile to keep our fireplace going all weekend long were just some of the fantastic memories we will keep of this great B&B! The suite was huge, the furnishings were beyond comfortable, the good-sized bathroom and deep jacuzzi tub were just icing on the cake for our romantic getaway! We will absolutely be back to see Darrin and Amy soon! We felt like we arrived as strangers and left as good friends. Please visit this terrific bed and breakfast. You’ll feel the same as we did! Comfortable and a bit rustic - fireplaces, charm and a lovely living room.. fireplaces everywhere. Host/ owner is one of the nicest guys around.|Escaped from the desert heat and dust for a day and it a great way to relax in the mountain. Would do it again..

An Amazing Stay!

I’m a huge fan of renting places with a modern aesthetic, and I probably wouldn’t have considered booking this b&b because it’s different from what I usually look for. I must say, though, I would have missed out on a fantastic experience – this place is AMAZING.

I can’t thank our host enough for the exceptional hospitality during our weekend stay at this beautiful bed & breakfast. It was a special weekend for us, as my fiancé proposed, and the host went above and beyond to help make the occasion even more memorable. Their thoughtfulness truly made the experience unforgettable.

The place itself is absolutely stunning – the décor is gorgeous, and everything is impeccably clean. It’s a place full of history, with charming details that make everything more interesting, like the guestbook filled with handwritten notes from visitors over the years. We especially loved the cozy fireplaces, which added such a warm and inviting atmosphere. There are also plenty of games available to pass the time, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

To top it all off, we were fortunate to be staying with other wonderful guests who made breakfast even more delightful and fun. This place truly exceeded all our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming getaway.
