My wife and I spent the night of 6 October at the Inn. We were very satisfied; indeed, the Getaway Inn is a treasure on the island. Danny and Julie were 100% friendly and helpful. The location was excellent -- on a quiet street next to Cooper's Woods and only one block from downtown. The breakfast was homemade and the nightly cost of the stay was a very good value. Highly recommend this Inn !!!

I just stayed there for the first time. Definitely won't be my last. My room was so cute and 💯 clean.
Just this year a saltwater pool was put in, which is such an added bonus.
The walk to downtown is not even 5 minutes. It's a perfect location.
The main event.... the breakfast.... is so incredibly delicious. I hope you get the egg cups when you are there. I will be craving those until my next stay.
Everyone who works there is so very polite and helpful.
Kudos to Danny and his entire staff!! They definitely run a top notch getaway.

My wife and I have been to the Getaway Inn on several occasions over the years. Each time we return there is always an improvement(s) of the property. This year it was major. A beautiful new swimming, beautiful landscaping and the entire back yard is incredibly peaceful. The owner is Danny and he is a real joy to work with. He has excellent rooms, all of them just a bit different from the others. The morning breakfast is always excellent. We would highly recommend it. We often come by boat and never do we stay on our boat as it is so nice to be here. A close walk to town but off the beaten path.

I’ve never been to a bed and breakfast prior to this. I was blown away. The room was clean and so cute and cozy. The bed was better than any hotel. The living room/breakfast area vibe was so calming. Breakfast was top notch. Coffee was great and I loved being able to take it to the room or to the beautiful backyard with pool. The music that was playing was the perfect touch. The place itself was nestled away from everything but yet so close to downtown. The golf cart rate to rent through them was just a cherry on top. Thankful for this anniversary getaway.

The Inn is a very cozy, friendly and inviting place. We were welcomed into the doors and felt at home. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was amazing. The room was spacious and extremely clean. We stayed two nights and loved every second. We will definitely be returning.

Very comfortable house, tastefully decorated with rooms that are so much better than a hotel. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff friendly and helpful. Many hotels on Put-In-Bay can be rowdy, loud and uncomfortable. The Getaway is a nice respite away from the bars downtown only a few blocks away. The backyard is beautiful with seating at umbrella'd tables, seats at the fire pit and loungers by the pool. Highly reccomend, will definitely stay again.

Highly recommend staying here. Clean and well maintained. Beautifully decorated and inviting/comfortable. Close to everything we wanted to see/do. Yet out of the hustle and bustle. Great breakfasts!!! Golf cart rental available also.

Every time my fiancé and I go to Put in Bay, we stay at Danny's Getaway Inn! We recently went for Bash on the Bay and absolutely love the pool that was put in. The breakfast was soooo good and the bed is very comfortable. This bed & breakfast is a prime location that's close to everything. We're already looking at our calendar when we can come back.
