My brother in law and I are from out of town helping an aunt who was having a medical procedure and googled for the nearest Cafe and George's Cafe came up so we had a quick breakfast before we picked her up. Our meals were fantastic! Not only were they delicious, they were huge portions so we were able to take some home for later! When we come back we are going to go here to eat so we can enjoy the atmosphere and meal that we are so used to coming from the south. Reasonably priced as well. Who would ever think a Cafe would be inside a bowling alley!

I went to George’s Cafe, the Lakeview location for an early dinner with my parents. My mother wanted to go because this was Liver & Onions special day…. My mother and I each got the Liver and onion special with my step dad getting a pancake sandwich. We had a very good server, his name was Trenton, he took our order and brought food and drinks to us and was polite and got our order correct.
The food came and it was strange that my mother’s liver was so rare there was blood in the plate, so my mother asked Trenton to please have it cooked longer, he was apologetic and took it back. But when it came back it was horribly over-cooked but hard to see that cuz the onions were piled on top as they should be. My mother ate as much as she could and then at end of the meal she asked to speak to the cook. Apparently the cook had left while we were eating because it was shift change. So we will see if the manager calls my mother tomorrow but I will say that the server Trenton handled the entire situation perfectly, he did not make any excuses and was polite thru the entire exchange so I really want to commend him for that and all of our other food was cooked fine and tasted great so the only blemish is my moms food was under-cooked followed by cooked into oblivion!!
We eat at George’s Cafe all the time and I don’t think this will stop us but I do hope the manager calls my mother.

I wish I knew that the main menu was available instead of just the breakfast special list. I ordered the eggs benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was from scratch and had dill in it which was a surprise. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly! When it came to the "Canadian bacon" or "ham" I was disappointed when I finally figured out that it was actually processed meat. The flavor was fine, but rather an off-putting texture. Service was fine, the regulars sure seemed to be greatly appreciated. I will probably go again someday, but will not go out of my way to go there.

Walleye dinner was tough as a piece of leather. I was under the impression that the Lakeview George's use the same walleye as the bell restaurant. Might have been freezer burn, old and just dried out. Still don't know if it was walleye

That this place is Beautiful clean the lanes are prefect the cafe clean the food 5 star to just be a cafe the staff friendly and welcoming fun place for family of any age one visit and you'll come again and yes again George's Lakeview cafe.first timers you'll be in awe of what you see come bowl a game or too or watch the pro's play anyway you're going to have a good time in a fun place

Great atmosphere Sam was our waitress and did outstanding. Food was great service was great and we had a great experience. We will be back. Breakfast served all day big plus.
