As always the food was delicious but I ordered a turkey sandwich with nothing but white sauce. The guy taking the order said “no cow cow and no pickles” to which I replied “yes just white sauce. When the girl got my bag she started toward me then went back and got two cups of white sauce and handed me my order. When I got home the sandwich had only red sauce which was still good but not what I wanted or what I ordered..

This is the Best Full Moon location that I have ever visited! The food and service that I received was outstanding. The portions were sizeable and I didn't need a magnifying glass to locate the food. The brisket and ribs were juicy and very tender. None of the meat was dry or inedible. The sides were really good as well. My order was exactly as I requested. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back again when I am in town.

In my opinion this is as good if not the best BBQ in the Birmingham area. I could stop just for the sweet tea which is the way it's supposed to be SWEET. And the pie. . . Lawd have mercy . . The pie . . I been on the key lime lately but have been known to do that coconut regularly too . . If their pie was a drug I would be in rehab. . . Highly recommend this particular Full Moon. . . Like they say they got the best butts in town

This review would be a 5 star if they were more consistent with serving tender ribs. The first time I ordered a rack of baby backs, they were moist, delicious & fall off the bone perfection a couple of weeks later they were edible but very dry & tough, the 3rd time I ordered them, the ribs that were placed in the takeout container were larger than baby back ribs, no where near as tender, had to cut the ribs to separate them instead of being able to pull them apart like a rack of baby backs should if they are allowed to cook long & slow. I will just stick to oven baking ribs at home on low heat overnight for guaranteed consistency instead of paying a restaurant for mediocrity!

All I'm going to say is DELICIOUS ? the food was everything I expected. I'm in town on vacation and really wanted barbecue so I stopped here. Money well spent everything was hot and fresh and I got so full. I ordered the creamy mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes with ribs so so good.

Food is right temperature, very good had pork sandwich,bake beans and fries, my mom had squash casserole, fried green tomatoes and okra she thoroughly enjoyed it especially the squash casserole she said that it was very very good. Granddaughter had baked potatoes with pork it was large took half home it was tasty

It’s a hit and a miss on the food, honestly. The big baker pork, is my go to! It feeds my 120lbs self, a little over 2 meals worth. The sweet tea is THE BEST!! Even if we aren’t getting food, we will stop in just for the sweet tea!!!! The cookies and cakes are really good as well!!

Whenever I visit to attend an Alabama football game, we stay in the Bessemer area and visit this location.

Last night, there was a bit of a small order mix up (could’ve been contributed by me after a long day of travel) and they made good to ensure a good customer experience by a complimentary carrot cake.
