Clean nice rooms and beds. Wonderful balconies. Frigid AC. Great tiki bar, pool and tub. Easy access to the beach. Price for a room was quite reasonable actually. Didn't do the breakfast so no comment. Free parking but not secure. I parked below my room and kept the balcony door open. I usually keep it open when available anyway.

Best affordable option in the middle of everything, if you dont mind a little effort. We cannot overstate how amazing Matthew and Laura are and have no doubt these Rockstars keep this place afloat. All the staff may do as much behind the scenes, but Mathew and Laura work very hard to make every guest interaction stellar, regardless of any other issues with the experience.

Overall, for the price, it's a good room with a great balcony and view, COLD AC, new TV, and a comfy bed (at least in ours, maybe some others need replaced). Great pool and hot tub, golf cart rentals, and Tiki bar right downstairs. Walkable to a lot of other great spots, including the arcade, all around a great deal.

It's difficult to keep things clean and not rusting by the beach, though some investments might help to better maintain this older building. Some things need replaced entirely - like stained sheets and worn out pillows - or higher powered steam or bleach cleanings - especially the shower with a couple broken tiles and a rusty vent.

However, a little effort to bring your own sheets, towels, and disposable shower shoes so you dont touch the floor goes a long way. Some of us are more neurotic anyway and already bring our own clorox wipes to give rooms a once over upon arrival. Our fridge was spotty and the shelves weren't set up, so I put in the elbow grease to clean and fix it up on their behalf. Is that how I want to spend day 1, not necessarily, but will I instead of paying 3x as much for a nicer stay, absolutely.

Consider your own limits, loosen them a bit in the Daytona spirit, and give them a try!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday this is our second year in a row that we have stayed here. And we absolutely love it we always get a one bedroom suite with a spa tub and the corner unit 401 in the big bay window opens up to the ocean and it is absolutely amazing and there's a balcony in every room

Positive: The room was clean and comfortable The Tiki bar was fun and the food was good. Close to the beach with easy access. Negative: I had a problem operating the TV, called the front desk, they didn't know how to work the TV either. I asked about beach chair rentals, the kid at the desk said he never heard of that. I called the place we stayed last year for that information.

Location was great. Most of the staff was great..the rooms were very dirty they had to move us from the first room this room should have never been rented it was absolutely disgusting. The next room was much better but still pretty dirty..the cleaning management needs to make sure these rooms are actually getting clean ..they have great amenities at this hotel..Just needs better management

If I could give this place a negative I would.
Went through 2 rooms, one as bad as the other. Dirty, run down & gross! First room Toilet didn’t flush, sink didn’t drain & dirty. Second room no better than 1st, plus had hair in bed. All walks of life live here. Did not feel safe. Need I say more. Ended up leaving. Would not recommend!

The location is great, right in the middle of everything and on the beach. I stayed in room 227, it was terrible. The roof was leaking, the room was not cleaned thoroughly. Both of the sofas in the room looks like they belong on the side of the road for trash pickup. There's barely any outlets to plug anything. The bed was horrible. There was a lot of rusts throughout the unit. This is definitely a place for if you're on a tight budget. I called for extra pillows and was told it's only one left. Housekeeping never came by the next day. I booked an ocean view room, I got more of a street view than ocean. The walls are super super thin. I was very disappointed and unimpressed. I will never stay there again.

Booked 2 rooms, one room my son stayed in and had no issues.|My daughter and I was in room 327. It was German roach infested. In several different areas throughout the room I saw these little roaches crawling on our belongings and throughout the room. Unfortunately before I saw the roaches we had decided to sign up for a 2nd night stay and we didn’t change rooms the night they were spotted because my daughter had already dozed off to sleep. The next morning I went to the desk and showed the receptionist the pics and videos I had of the roaches and she switched our room for the 2nd night to room 415.|Upon entering that room we noticed the air conditioner was down to 63 and pretty cold in the room but it did seem liken a nicer room. We turned the air conditioner up to 73, and as the day progressed condensation started appearing on the floors and everything was getting damp and wet in our room. The later it got the worse it got. The floors were so wet that we had to put towels down between the beds to wipe our wet feet off on before crawling into bed. By the next morning it looked like we took a water hose to the room and the floors were saturated. This could explain why they had the air conditioner on 63 when we arrived in that room, by keeping it freezing to prevent the condensation. |I asked my son if he had any condensation issues and wet floors and he said no but that he kept his room on 63 and never turned the air conditioner up. |The hotel is nice and clean (other than roaches in 1 room), the pool is nice, hot tub is nice, staff is nice, but after 2 rooms with issues. I just wouldn’t recommend staying here. |Honestly they should at least give us some kind of refund/ partial, SOMETHING, for the hassle we went through and going home with damp everything.
