I specifically ordered a non-smoking room, they gave me a completely smoke-filled room, I asked to change them, they gave me the exact same terrible room. I do not recommend anyone to rent a place to stay here, because this hotel is disgusting. The rooms are terrible, the service is bad. requested a refund for the remaining days because they did not honor the booking conditions and gave us a smoke-filled room, not a non-smoking room. Now they just say leave the room, you must vacate by 11am, did not return the money, took the room, and received the full cost. Disgusting service. I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect - this is a hotel with low-ish ratings in a neighborhood that goes from good to not so good very quickly. We were visiting family & wanted something close by so gave this place a shot. The girl at the front desk was very nice. When first entering our room, I thought "OK this isn't too bad". Well, yeah it was. The matress was hard & had a ripped plastic mattress protector under the thin worn out sheets. The pillows were flat & hard. No blanket, just a couple of layers of sheets. I encountered some kind of bug, not sure what it was but that sucker moved fast & disappeared before I was able to smash him. Where? Where did he go? No idea & was just hoping he didn't take up residence in any of my belongings. Something, probably that thing, bit me on the back of the neck during the night & left an itchy welt that's driving me crazy. We left at the crack of dawn. This place is insanely overpriced. I do not recommend.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and spacious. My only gripe is the green chair by the window is extremely low ( terrible if you have bad knees) and uncomfortable. The room service staff did not disappoint.
Will come back again in the near future.

If you’re looking for a place to sleep, it’s an ok choice.
However, if you want a hotel, it’s a no for me.
The central location might be a plus. It’s not far from an L.I.R.R. location that will give you access to Manhattan & it’s also close to buses & food.
