We were there for 2 stays this summer and both were wonderful and relaxing. The inside of out pet friendly unit was so clean. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Since we are handicapped, it was nice to park so near to our door. And the private sandy beach was so nice and we watched swimmers. Thankfully we were there at sunset-- so beautiful! We"d like to return next summer. Thank you to all the helpful staff!

Both of our stays at the cabins were great. The room was clean and beds were so comfortable. TV worked great. We are handicapped, so it was good to park so close to our cabin. And the sandy, private beach was beautiful, especially at sunset! I thank the staff for all the help, and we hope to return next summer.

What an awesome place! The colors of the cottages gives you no choice but to be happy! The owner Joy is absolutely AWESOME! The Erie Kai had friendly bartenders and knowledge on cool places to see in the area! The beach is clean and welcoming!! We LOVED our time there and will definitely return!!

My every need was graciously met by my hostess who went above and beyond what I expected. The cabins were clean, in good repair and very comfortable. I'm 73 and woke up without a backache! Something that doesn't happen at home. This is my 5th stay at Firefly Beach. I will return. I almost feel like family.

Breathtaking view! The host, and guests Holly and Charity, were great from the moment we arrived! The place is beautiful, very well laid out and it felt safe. We plan to return to see more sunrises and sunsets. We should have come here first and skipped the motel the first night.

Firefly Beach Resort is a great place to stay in Huron, Ohio. The cabin we stayed in, Surf Side, was very clean and sits right on a ledge above the shoreline. You must bring your own linens, pillows and towels. The new owners recently added air conditioning to the cabins, but the weather was perfect when we were there, warm days and cool nights. There is a small toaster, coffee maker (byo coffee), microwave and small refrigerator which was enough to heat up preprepared breakfasts and also sandwiches for lunch. There are many restaurants in the area for dinner or you can cook over the fire or there are also grills on the property for guest use. The private beach is great, you feel secluded, and it is very relaxing to sit on the beach and listen to the waves while getting a tan. We highly recommend this resort as long as you are looking for a simple, no-frills respite.

Just spent a fabulous weekend at the best beach in Ohio! We have visited many times and the place is better than ever. Freshly painted, clean, and the AC is life changing. We enjoyed the beach, and grilling under the festively lit pavilion. Can’t wait to go back next month!

Firefly resort is awesome. The cottages are clean as well as the beach. Each cottage has a firepit and wood available for purchase brought right to your cottage. Becki is very accommodating.
