Just wanted to share my experience and the fact they’ve ignored my request on a refund for not receiving my entire order and receiving a subpar presentation on the order. I would encourage anyone interested in using this catering company to withhold paying in full until you receive your entire order.

I’ve pasted my email and the before and after pictures below. We had to put everything on our own platters and throw away a lot of unusable crackers, fruit, desserts and veggies.

Dear Rajan,

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the catering services provided for our neighborhood Christmas party on December 14. We were quite disappointed with several aspects of the service, and I am requesting a refund to address these issues.

Firstly, we did not receive the dessert truffles or lemon bars, and there were only 38 instead of 40 apple caramel bars. Including a pro rata portion of the undisclosed $700 "administrative fee” tacked on at the end (which I consider frankly to be a dishonest business practice), we paid almost $290 for food that was never delivered. This was a significant oversight, as these items were part of our planned menu.

Secondly, the delivery process was problematic. Your delivery team dropped a tray of meatballs outside the front door, resulting in marinara sauce being spilled on the driveway, which we were forced to clean up. This not only created a mess but also reduced the amount of food available for our guests. And no one was available to answer a phone call about the missing food.

Additionally, the presentation of the delivered food was far from what was advertised on your website and what we expected for the prices charged. The phyllo cups had clearly been prepared at least a couple days in advance and had grown soggy, the greens had also plainly been sitting for some time, and the crackers that accompanied the fruit and cheese plates were broken to the point of being unusable:

A side-by-side comparison of the caprese skewers that you advertised and what we received makes pretty clear why we are so disappointed in the service.

The unappetizing display required us to re-plate everything, which was both time-consuming and disappointing, but necessary to fix the sub-par delivery we received.

Given these issues, a refund is clearly warranted. I suggest a 50% refund as an appropriate amount.

I hope we can resolve this matter amicably and promptly. Please let me know how you wish to proceed.

Figs and Honey catered the engagement party we threw for our son. They did a wonderful job. They were very quick answering all my questions and getting quotes while planning the party. On the day of the event, the food was delicious and beautiful. The staff that worked the party could not have been more helpful and friendly. They were great throughout the whole event. They did a great job with cleanup. I was impressed with their accuracy on the estimate, we did not run out of food or have much left over. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

Lovely Day Weddings and Events worked with Figs & Honey last weekend at Atlanta Alpaca Treehouse in the Bamboo Forest. Cade was the lead and the staff was phenomenal. We don't eat until everyone has eaten and an hour after dinner was fully served, our team had a chance to take breaks. The food was still SO good! The steak was still tender and the asparagus was perfect. The owner was very communicative during the planning process, which is really important to us planners! The whole staff that night was so professional and went above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about service and food!

I used this caterer for my corporate event this Summer and was extremely disappointed. Our contract stated that they will come 4 times through-out the day (breakfast, lunch, snacks, happy hour) and they were late EVERY SINGLE TIME. Even once they did arrive, they were very slow to set-up. Our event attendees arrived at 8:30am to no breakfast and when it was time for happy hour, we had no alcohol or snacks to offer as they were late once again. Not only was this a horrible experience for our attendees, but our POC, Rajan, was not responsive to our calls and complaints through-out the day. He blatantly lied to us multiple times saying that they were already there setting up when they clearly were not.
This event occurred now 3 weeks ago and we've sent 8 emails explaining the situation and asking to be compensated and we have been fully ignored. Not a single response or apology. This is unacceptable. If you're planning any type of event- corporate or social, do not use this company or you and your attendees will be disappointed and hungry. I gave two stars because the food that we did get a chance to eat was good.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to use Figs & Honey catering for my wedding. Julia and Christian were simply incredible to work with - fun, courteous, professional, and talented! We had guests raving about how creative and delicious the food was, and the bartenders and staff were all so friendly and on top of things. I'm also very grateful to Julia for taking such great care of me and my husband and for preparing us plates of food to make sure we ate!! Would absolutely use their services again 10/10!

I used Figs and Honey to cater my sister’s Baby Shower in October. Several items were either not delivered or were made incorrectly. I immediately contacted Figs and Honey and made them aware of the issues. Not a single person has taken ownership or tried to remedy the issues that occurred. I have sent emails and made phone calls and I am being completely ignored.

Do not use them for your event.

We just completed our 3rd company quarterly event using Figs & Honey as our preferred catering company. The food is always delicious and delivered on time. Cristian and Pat (The owner) are usually the two that I speak to when placing our orders, and they are both friendly and very accommodating. The delivery drivers are always friendly and easy to talk to. JC was our delivery driver on this quarterly and he was wonderful. He made sure everything was set up and ready for our team to enjoy. Thanks Figs & Honey and staff for another successful experience!
