Fenders was awesome!!!! Cost was GREAT!!! Location is amazing. We were here for 3 weeks and the trip was made much better by the access to the river. Our dogs were easily accepted, so very pet friendly. My only complaint was Wi-Fi was horrible!

Aahhhh Fenders, what can I say.. 😍 My fourth time staying when visiting from London and making the long drive from LA towards AZ and every single time has felt like coming home.

The staff are always so kind and welcoming, the sunrise/sunset views over the Colorado River from the little apartment with the balcony are just spectacular and there’s just something so special about this little Oasis in the desert. (Also the beds are INSANELY comfy)

If you’re thinking about visiting make sure you go for a dip in the river and stargaze from the jetty with a cold beer and take the time to chat with the local residents - what a place. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back! 🌴

Got a pull thru spot that was nice and level.
Right on the Colorado River with a boat ramp.
Nice clean hot showers.

Tiffany was awesome and answered all my crazy questions.

Cute, funky, older motel, right on the water. Dog friendly. Rooms are clean. AC works great. Service is exceptional. There are some up grades going on, and I look forward to seeing this place again. I stayed in the top suite, which has the best views. It has a refrigerator, stove , and toaster. A bit bare on utensils and towels. The Colorado River is beautiful to watch. I didn't have much time there as I was driving through. I'll be back.

We booked here for a month hoping to stay at this campground for the winter, but had to leave early because several full timers were very disrespectful of their dogs and camp living conditions. No respect for others or noise rules. A lot of the facilities were in bad shape or run-down. The staff was great though. Very helpful. A great spot on the river as well.

We were only planning on staying here 1 night but after the first night we decided we wanted to stay for a second! The laundry/washrooms were very spacious and the machines were good price! I loved the take it and leave it bin we definitely left some items! They have a good size 2 story balcony you can sit out and relax by the Colorado river during the day and star gaze at night! The staff was extremely friendly. If we are ever in the in this area again we definitely stop here!

After a long day on the road traveling from Monument Valley, UT we thought we’d try Fenders Resort as we’ve seen it on the river front on our jet ski rides.|We opted to get a room at the motel as we were pulling into town late. Mistake. Big Mistake. B I G|The room was Very bare bones. Paver floor, small rug by the bed.|It did have a kitchenette and a mini table and chair. (O N E 👆🏽 chair) .|The queen bed was pushed against the wall under wall a/c unit.|It was warm in the evening, but the bed had flannel sheets, no blanket, no bed spread/cover, no headboard. Just the mattress on the frame. There was a heavy layer of dust under the bed.|The bathroom: Shower - no water pressure, no hot or warm water. Think of like trying to wash in a drinking fountain. Good thing we carry Baby Wipes!|In the morning, the sink had bugs scattered about. The lady at the desk said they were River Bugs. 🤔 They were not there the night before.|We were out of there at first light !||The saving grace… if you are staying in an RV definitely consider the riverfront sites in the South Beach section, specifically #115-119. Right on the bank above the river, grass, picnic table, very nice! Reasonable at $48/night vs more for the “room”.
