10/10 service and food was SLAPPIN. I got the country bowl and silver dollars. Delicious. Everyone was so nice and respectful. Even the cute lil girl who greeted me in the hallway. Very nice place. Very clean.

I had asked my former co-workers awhile back about where could I get a good Southern breakfast and was told The Farmer's Market Cafe was a " don't miss".. and after using Google Maps I found myself in the front parking area this morning .. so in I went...
I was warmly greeted and given a menu..
I ordered The Farmer's Breakfast and knew there was no way I could get out of here without trying The Biscuits and Gravy which later I found a great choice. plus coffee and juice to wash it down.. the meal was nothing short of excellent.. well prepared oh and did I rave about the biscuits and gravy .. well they were worth the trip.. my waitress was on point and my coffee cup never went dry.
The dining area was spacious and clean and so was the restroom..
After dining I checked out the surrounding area. Time slipped away and by the time I returned the restaurant was serving lunch and the parking lot was packed.. I made a mental note that lunch here is a must.
I say to the restaurant staff and management .. great job .. and I will return..

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Orange Beach and were pleasantly surprised. I got the Farmer's omelet, and it was very tasty. We shared an order of biscuits and gravy, and that was outstanding! We're from NC and know good biscuits and gravy. 😁 One of my friends got the Farmhouse French toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. If we're ever in Montgomery again, we'll definitely stop here for breakfast!

Some of the best home cooked comfort fries food i have ever had. I'm not normally a green bean casserole person, but today I old not stop eating my portion. The fried chicken was juicy, crispy, and very delicious. Key lime pie was sweet and tasty. The staff are very warm and welcoming. Stop by for an amazing meal and a welcoming community!

The food was pretty good, I should have asked for cheese but that was on me. The staff was very nice and friendly, you get more than what you pay for in my opinion. Cheaper and better than waffle house, I loved how spacious it is and how quiet it is. I love the early hours and can't wait to try their lunch sometime, would recommend.

This place has been a treat for the people since 1959. I met a man today who has been coming here longer than I’ve been alive! It feels like coming home to me 🥰
The cook works hard to make the orders just right and the rest of the staff are all kind and friendly. I look forward to going each time!

The Farmers Market Cafe is a GREAT downtown Montgomery establishment.
It's some of the best southern, soul food that you'll find! Nick and his team have been in operation a long time. The walls tell of the stories of many well known people that enjoy coming to eat, fellowship, hold meetings, and keep coming back! No matter the age they have food that everyone will enjoy! Ask for Nick, Haley, Sarah, or Alexa! Wish I knew the cook staff's names. They are also heroes of the Farmers Market Cafe!

Classic Montgomery Meat & 3 restaurant with plenty of "regulars!" Wait staff is second to none and prices are pretty good. Possibly the best sweet tea for 4 blocks, and in this town, that's a compliment!
Get there early (11:00 am) for best selection before the good stuff runs out! You never know who you'll run into at the FMC!
