Travel Nurse
Came in late due to car issues. Went to gate house to pick up information was literally yelled at by 4 people for coming in so late night before. They stated we were only allowed to come in 8-5 not after hours. No one had mentioned it to me, in fact she stated we recommend you come during daylight hours. Recommend is not you canโ€™t come after dark. I apologized repeatedly but was scolded some more. I mentioned I had dogs no pet limit was mentioned in the reservation, found out only 2 dogs allowed. Was told by manager I had 2 days to vacate due to animals, doesnโ€™t seem to be travel nurse friendly. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The resort is located on the east side of Tucson with a lot of retail conveniently close. The RV sites are tight but easily accessible with large RV's. Tons of activities and very friendly staff. Great place to be during the winter months. We would return when in the area.

Very nice, friendly staff, lots of amenities. The view of the mountains was spectacular. Lots of day trips nearby, too, not that you would want to leave.

Very good RV park. Clean, quiet, friendly. Heated pool, hot tub, sauna, TV/computer room, pickleball courts, fitness room, meeting rooms, large laundry, many clubs and activities, 2 dog walk areas, etc. At least half the sites contain park models, some others are long-term occupants as well. WiFi only works in main building. Cable TV requires Comcast account, so it isn't free or even available for short-term stays. There is very strong over the air TV signals, though. This is a convenient location to the national park, Sabino Canyon, and bicycling the 55+ mile "Loop". Grocery stores, hardware, Walmart, and restaurants within easy walking distance. Bus stops rearby. Located about 6 miles east of the university and "old downtown." Will stay here again.

Enjoy staying here. DeMarco has been outstanding in helping with reserving rooms. Unfortunately the so called Yoga class is basically meditation and at least 6 other friends here also feel we need a better Yoga class.

Gorgeous pristine resort, friendly helpful staff, residents, craft area monitors, & exercise leaders! Live music, pickle ball, many types of table games. Stunning pool & hot tub area with ample space & seating. Mountain views all around, sun rises & sunsets are glorious! If you come here & are bored itโ€™s your own fault. We wish there were 36 hours in every day so we had time to do it all.

We've stayed here seasonally since 1999 and have found it to be the type of community that is as good as you make it. We have many talented, fun-loving residents and visitors, all active and involved.
After five years, I'm now adding my opinion that the new management company is a failure at customer service. Some of the feedback our residents have received in response to complaints: In response to repeated electricity blackouts: "What do you expect for a 50 year old park?" (Okay, how about charging 50 year old rates then?) In response to reduced services and closed facilities: "They'll forget about those amenities after a year." ((!) There is no lobby, no spa, and especially no security...no, we won't forget.) Cal-Am management is not stellar management. Our neighbors and the location are the only great parts of living here.
