We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was beautiful The beds were amazingly comfortable as well as the pillows. Breakfast was hot,fresh & tasty. front desk staff, Gracie & Charlene were so nice! They were extremely professional,friendly & very welcoming! Room had no washcloths went to front desk was told a call was being placed to housekeeping. The following day when I returned to the hotel I stated, " I still have not received the washcloths ". I was told again I will call housekeeping that's when I stated that's what you said last night. I was so please with my previous stay that's what prompted me to book again. I'm in Waycross at least once a month and normally stay with choice hotels being a Bonvoy member as well allowed the flexibility to switch up. Very disappointed with this experience.

Fantastic experience in Waycross Ga. My only suggestion is a nicer coffee set up like the Best Western and not locking the juice/water machine after breakfast. I constantly visited fitness center for water. Loved the fitness area! Thank You for the great service~Front desk was Top Notch!

We have stayed at this location numerous times and had no issues till this last time. When we arrived that night to check in the young lady stated that they were overbooked. She explained that there were no rooms available and we would be refunded. According to her everything was taken care of on her end. When we checked the funds were removed from account. I reached out and was told by front desk manager that general manager would refund and it would take 3-7 days depending on bank. After more than a week we still haven’t received the funds. We reached out again and was told once again that manager would refund and it would take 3-7 days depending on bank. Only to receive a call back that they would not refund because they were not overbooked that night😡🤬. Really, that’s funny because we were turned away by front desk that night who stated that you were overbooked and we inconveniently had to find another place to stay. I asked that they pull camera and talk to staff member that night. As of right now I will unfortunately never book with you again and let everyone know about this horrific experience. So, as of now they refuse to refund and ask that we continue to be inconvenienced by having to pursue this further. Please be aware when booking at this location.

For this to be a new property it has been an awful experience. From the first day that I checked in, they assigned me to a room in which was not clean and there was food still in the refrigerator which was room 126.

They moved me to the fourth floor in the water would not get hot. I complained about it for almost a week and it was not resolved. I literally had to call Marriott to inform them about the issue. They have rooms available and told me that they could not move me because they were trying to sell out at the hotel instead of having customer service and being accommodating and adhering to the fact that the water did not get hot.

The lady at the front desk gave me a key card to check out room 206 in which the water did get hot and said they were not able to move me until the morning time because I said they are trying to sell out of rooms. Unfortunately I have to work in the morning so I can’t just sit around and wait and I don’t come back until the evening and they knew that.

I demanded that I moved since the room was available and I have not been able to use any hot water . I called Marriott in the presence of the front desk guest services for me that the manager was willing to let me move.

Once I moved to the room, everything was fine, but as far as cleaning housekeeping is terrible. They will put a sign on your door to avoid cleaning your room. I had all my linens and towels piled at the front door for them to take to replace the sheets and towels in the room. They put a sign on the door so they wouldn’t have to do it. After that, I had a personal item on my bed and they said that they couldn’t clean because I had a personal item on the bed. I didn’t have any personal items on the bed so that wouldn’t be an excuse to not clean the room and they still did not clean the room an entire week.

Typically, I would have just moved hotels, but considering the availability due to the hurricane, I was not able to move hotels.

I would not recommend this hotel unless there was a new manager and new housekeeping.

Love this hotel, not just because it’s new and nice - but the rooms, TVs, internet, ambience, service, staff and breakfast are what sets it apart from the other hotels here. It makes staying in Waycross during the weekdays for work much better. Highly recommend for my fellow business travelers! Can’t find better accommodations in Waycross or Douglas than this Fairfield hotel.

New hotel so everything was beautiful. My issue is the price of a 1 night stay was $253. We paid it because there wasn't any hotels available at the time. During the recent hurricane clean-up. What makes Waycross, Ga so expensive? We won't be back.
