I never leave reviews but this needs to be addressed. I'm giving this 3 stars only bc my room was clean and the staff was nice. No Wi-Fi for 3 days, loud obnoxious guests, and a very strong smell of weed thru out the whole hotel. It felt like a crack den/drug dealer compound while I was there. I felt unsafe and won't be returning to this property. I'm finding a lot of the lower tier Marriotts have been suffering lately. Hopefully some upgrades are in order...

One of the most disappointing Marriot stays I've had. I recently switched all of my business travel from Hiltons to Marriott, and if this becomes the normal I will rapidly switch back. The rooms smelled musty and dirty. The comforter had stains, the facecloths were stained, there was no soap, there was no shampoo. Around 9pm, the entire second floor smelled like marijuana. I called the front desk twice with no answer. The next morning I had to go buy some new clothes so I didn't smell like weed for my meetings. The only thing it had going for it was that it was across the parking lot from a great shopping center.

We are staying here for vacation and to visit family. I have been really impressed with the bfast! Shannon was amazing at keeping everything stocked and hot! Beds ate super comfy, staff is very kind! I haven't had any issues. The only thing was it stated having a jacuzzi and does not but that doesn't take away from the hospitality 🙂 the cleaning crew could be a little and do a little better but again the hotel itself has been wonderful!! Fresh cookies all night!!

Found 2 gross stains on the comforter on 1 of the beds. Complained to the front desk and there were no more comforters because the hotel was at max occupancy. Makes you wonder how often they are washed if they only have 1 per bed.

Warning, No Hot Tub! The only reason I booked this hotel over other hotels in the area was that we were looking for one with a hot tub, only to find that they had removed the hot tub and never updated the website. Also don't be fooled by the picture of the pool. It's a tiny pool that's freezing cold and not big enough to do anything but stand in.

Never again: surly check-in staff, sad-looking exterior, old and skanky interior. Management clearly doesn’t care. There are many hotel options the area including one across the parking lot. Select one of those instead.||We’ve been on the road much of the last two and a half months and have stayed in many, many hotels. This one tied with another for the worst. Marriott, this place is tarnishing your brand.

We had a disappointing experience staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Hartford Manchester in August 2024. Unfortunately, several issues went unresolved, despite efforts to address them with management.

Upon arrival, we found a large puddle on the carpet, covering about an eighth of the room. We notified the front desk, but they told us no one was available to help. We also had a shortage of pillows—only three small ones for two people. When we requested more, we were told the hotel was fully booked and no extras were available, even though rooms were still showing as available online.

To make matters worse, there was a repetitive clicking noise behind the bathroom wall that kept us up most of the night. We tried messaging the hotel through the Marriott app, but only received an automated response and never heard back.

Following our stay, we spoke with the manager who promised a partial refund and 20,000 Marriott points for the inconvenience. We eventually received the refund after several follow-ups, but we’re still waiting on the points, despite multiple calls and emails with no response from the hotel.

We visit Manchester often to see family and were hoping this could be a reliable place to stay, but our experience left us disappointed. We won’t be choosing this location in the future, and I’d caution others to consider alternatives.

I have never experienced the WORST customer service from a young lady working the desk. She refused to check status of our rooms, after our reservation was completely messed up. We had to go to another hotel for a night. When we returned the next day, this lady, or rude front desk would barely help us, had an awful attitude,. She handed me the key without even telling me what room number. When i asked for her name, she refused to give it to me and got very nasty when I asked to see the manager! Let’s get it together! We are paying customers, if you work in customer service you need to do your job properly and help! Nasty armor rides don’t belong in a customer service desk.
