If I could give negative 100 stars I would. This place is terrible. Where do I start? The locals that live there pay by the week and roam around the property. There was scalding hot water in the shower and no other options. We had to change rooms. Room had no phone, was dirty, had missing light bulbs, and the TV did not work. Other guests were partying until about 3 am directly above us. They moved us to a new room, which was dirty and did not have a light bulb in the bathroom area. Bugs... were seen. I went to talk to the "manager" to explain the situation, and he barely spoke English, a woman came out and said that the light bulb had room be working because the room was cleaned. Well, wrong in both cases. I told them I was going to give them a bad review, and they shrugged their shoulders and didn't care a bit. Also, there is an aluminum bat in the office, presumably for protection.....it looked well used. Also, bullet holes in the property and syringes on the ground. You could not pay me to stay here ever again. There is more stuff I'm forgetting about.....it was just horrendous. DO NOT GO TO THIS SO CALLED MOTEL.

Look, I get no one is expecting really great things out of a Talladega motel but this place was not acceptable. First off they allowed us to book 3 rooms 5 months in advance for an event and on arrival told us they over booked and only two of the 3 rooms were available. The first room was inhabitable and this is coming from someone who stays in run down hotels/motels for business. Everything was so filthy. The motel was also housing multiple government sponsored individuals that just hung out in the parking lot. Happy that they had one room that was habitable though, or else we would be camping without camping supplies.

Nice rooms.. been recently remodeled and was just about mad as a hornet that i had to remove the battery from the fire detector..it was all beeping and too loud for sleep. Other than that...not a bad place or price..believe it is al non smoking.. not to sure.. but u can just about walk all over Dega! Lots of restaurants in the area. McDonald's fans u whole love this place! Right next door!!

Great crew they just built on the other side of the hotel! Flat screens great access to the food places If staying for a night with family. No security problems since the police department visits the premises often. High accessible and rates aren’t high. I would recommend this hotel anytime any day

No hot water going on 6 days. While sitting on the bed watching television , a Rat the size of raccoon ? sprinted across the behind the dresser into a big hole in the wall. Snakes slither across the sidewalks, so I guess there pest control.
And this is why they raised the price to $300 a week? Should be down! Just awful!

This place is under new management an they have made alot of improvements. They are always kind an if a problem occurs they have it repaired in timely manor. They have removed alot of chaos that had been here over last 2 mths.

The room isn't very clean , tub has spit or something still in it , toilet has poop on it , the night stand has some sort of pills inside , a syringe is above the door and the room smells horrible . Thankfully I didn't rent the , my friend rented the room for a night as he was passing through and I came to visit him . The staff are very unprofessional and if you don't watch your vehicle , someone will be trying to see inside it and possibly even break into it . I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy ..
