Update: Room is decent for the price. Haven't gotten to my room yet, will update when I go in, but the absolute ridiculous hostility I encountered when checking in made me want to write a review. My last name doesn't always cooperate with computers-as in, computers regularly change my last name from what it actually is into something the computer will recognize (my last name has a period in it). I had to ask about wifi and was told it's my last name and email. I tried to explain that I've had trouble with my last name/computers/wifi before, and asked the front desk staff if they could write down exactly what they had in their computers for my wifi so that i could log in and Lilly got visibly irritated with my request (heavy sighs and an eyeroll or two). I apologized and said I wasn't trying to be difficult I just wanted to address a potential problem before I got to my room so I didn't have to come back or call and bother them. I explained that i was seeking clarification because I've had issues before when my last name was a password for wifi to Lilly. She told me that she wasnt upset but what i was doing would be like if she 'went to my job and said i was being rude-wouldnt that upset you? But im not upset thats what im saying'. I got my room number written down on a torn off corner of a post-it note stuck to one room keycard and no receipt. The hotel offers breakfast, per hotels.com, (which is where i booked through) but Lilly failed to mention anything about where it is or the hours breakfast is available. I do not recommend this place. Pay an extra $10/night and go somewhere else.

I'm on a roll with this place..like how I'm treated by staff..only one time was I unhappy with a room i was put in ...they quickly moved me..everything has been clean..2 consistent Lil details i have to take care of every visit...clean out the vent filters and walk down to the desk to get batteries for the remote control. I'm fine with those minor issues. I'm so much happier with extended stay north than the experience I had with extended stay south. Staff there really fell short. Even the gm. Really pathetic way to be. North has good people. If we could only get a better understanding of what breakfast is..If your add says serves breakfast...let's serve a breakfast please. Not just a single muffin if your the one that beats everyone else to get the one muffin..smh

Normal hotel room experience, as expected, no complaints.
The key cards demagnetize very easily though if you carry it near a device like your cellphone. It still happened to us despite our best efforts and awareness of this.

I can't really rate this place because when I showed up to the front desk to reserve a room, I needed to use a restroom (to pee). The lady said there was no public restroom and then asked me to stand by the counter. She went in the back room. I finally requested 2 rooms for one night. She acknowledged my request and told me to wait. She made me wait at the counter for 15 minutes. I was tired of waiting and I decided to go to the nearby hotel.
Bottom line, customer service wasn't on point.

Pound-for-pound the best part of it is the prices of a little bit more than the ones that they compete with in the little area there so it keeps a handful of the riff Raff going elsewhere. If they would put a little more effort into making things nicer and cleaner and a little more Marriott or Hilton it would be easy for them to charge those same prices they do and their location is second only to their neighbor. But it seems that they're ceiling for being equal to the best isn't very important. Still it's a pretty good hotel it's worth the money

We have stayed at Extended Stays country wide throughout the past yearโ€”I am talking Columbus, Missouri (three locations), Arizona, and now Dayton. This is significantly the best Extended Stay location we have stayed at.

The welcome that Lilly provided was superb. We have never been so warmly welcomed to an Extended Stay America before and that was immediately well received. Made us feel like a king and queen!

We have been here for about two months now, and will be staying for several more, and this location has been nothing short of phenomenal. The police, fire department, and ambulances are very close by in the event of an emergency. There is a shopping plaza surrounding the location, so it is a very convenient location.

The staff does a phenomenal job at keeping the location cleanโ€”and I mean CLEAN! I almost want to say to disregard the other reviews that say it is dirty, because compared to other Extended Stays across the country, this one is top of the line.

To me, a woman, safety is not as large of a concern here. The parking lot is well lit, staff learns who you are pretty fast and keeps an eye out for everyone.

We travel with a cat, and there have been no problems with having one here. They will accommodate housekeeping around making sure not only you, but your furry friend have a pleasant stay.

Lilly - I cannot explain enough how lovely this woman is. She is such a pleasant person to talk with and quickly will accommodate you. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone staying here is happy, and I have never seen someone go to such lengths at one of these chains before. If you stay here, make sure you have the chance to say hello to her!

Reggie has been a phenomenal man to work here as well. He has been very friendly and courteous. Never ignores anyone and always has a smile and pleasant conversation.

I unfortunately do not recall her name, but the lady that is normally working the morning shift is always a delight as well.

If anything changes, for better or worse, I will make sure to update this review. So far, 10/10 from me!

I wish I had photos. There were things left on the floor from the previous person or persons that were in the room before me. The room looks clean but like I said nobody clean the floors so they were big items and items that no children should see we're on the floor. I could not use the bathroom because it smells like a sewer. I assume that people keep their dogs in their bathroom and in the room. I will never stay here again I would rather sleep in my car then go to this hotel.
