Chef Eric Centeno and his team really went above and beyond for our event. Sandra guided me through the menu planning and I was so amazed at how everything turned out. The food was exceptional and everything was so creatively put together. The place looked so stunning. My guests kept telling me how much they were enjoying the food and how beautiful everything looked. Thank you Sandra for your guidance, I cannot say enough. Exquisite Delites did not disappoint! The recent food tasting was a true culinary journey. From the beautifully presented dishes to the perfectly seasoned meats, every bite was a delight. This is my review from my experience with Exquisite Delights who provided breakfast for a meeting on Tuesday, October 1.

What I ordered: Scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, chicken sausage and salmon cakes.

What I received:

Eggs (Picture below). When I asked why were the eggs floating in water, I was told by the server that they weren't fully cooked prior to delivery to keep them from being overcooked. The server then said the eggs would just need a few minutes to heat up and then they would fluff out. The server then put on gloves and proceeded to mix the eggs with his hands. When I saw him start doing this I was shocked and I asked him what he was doing. He replied, "I'm fluffing the eggs out". My colleagues saw this and, needless to say, no one ate the eggs.

Breakfast Potatoes: Overall, they were oily and unevenly cooked. However, the potatoes that were evenly cooked tasted okay.

Spicy Chicken Sausage: Very well done to the point of being overcooked, hard and dry.

Salmon Cakes: After the foil cover was removed, they smelled... and not in a good way. When I asked two coworkers what they thought about the salmon cakes, they said that they didn't eat them because they smelled fishy and, after taking a bite, they also tasted fishy. Thie salmon cakes came with a sauce that the server from Exquisite Delights started placing on them. I asked him to stop and said "can you just leave it on the side because some people might not want sauce or some might want extra sauce?" I assumed this wouldn't be a problem, but he said no.. I then replied "excuse me?" and after that he said could not leave the plastic container, but if I wanted to keep the sauce he'd leave some in a bowl.- that I would have to provide. It's hard for me to understand why, after placing an order worth several hundred dollars, he wouldn't leave the sauce in a container that you'd get for free as part of a takeout order.

Overall, I was disappointed with both the service and the quality of the food. I'm giving Exquisite Delights a two-star rating because the evenly cooked potatoes were okay, and the delivery was on time. I will not utilize the services of Exquisite Delights for future events.
