J Raphael catered our wedding and it was fabulous! All of our guests raved about the food and commented about how much better it was than any other wedding they had been to.

We had a massive, beautiful, delicious charcuterie board for cocktail hour, and a buffet for dinner with two different meats, two salads, and various sides. It was all so good! J's staff were very professional, and J even came around personally to make sure that everyone had what they needed. The menu he made for us was so creative and delicious. I would highly recommend him for your next event!

J and his team could not have been better for our rehearsal and wedding day. We started with a tasting that we literally couldn't move after because we could not stop eating the food. We had them cater our rehearsal dinner and I asked for a special item not on his original menu and he DELIVERED. Also, just get the cheesecake, trust me. The day of the wedding everything was set out beautifully and his staff was courteous and professional. As the bride and groom we made sure to get a plate with EVERYTHING and we ate every bit. He told me he would take care of us, and he did absolutely that. Cannot recommend him enough.

The food was out of this world it was something that will change your perspective on food like I cant even go back to eat regular food anymore. The taste, decoration, the color omggg it was excellent. Honestly it was better than all restaurants combined together. Every thing on the menu was delicious every single bit was exceptional. Best food I have ever tasted Not to mention his kindness and attitude throughout this whole experience. And how they presented the food was just like in 5 starts hotel. I cant wait until our next time. And the cherry on top was they cleaned the entier kitchen and left it cleaner than before. If you came here to read reviews dont waste time and call him now!!

J. Raphael Catering did a service for our wedding Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Botanical Garden in Huntsville. We payed his company to do a cocktail hour with Butlered Hors d'Oeuvres and Buffet Reception Services. The guest seemed to like the food and the services but unfortunately, the bride and groom ordered a different meal from the choosing for the buffet for the guest. When it was time for the bride and groom to be served, their food was COMPLETELY COLD! The groom ordered a steak and it was very dry and uneasy to slice, the bride ordered salmon and it was very hard and clumpy when it was sliced. I called J. Raphael Catering the next day after the wedding and spoke with him about why our food was cold, his answer was something about having to fire off a stove. I also asked him where our food was prepared, he said that he cooked it at his kitchen and hauled it over to the Botanical Garden. Upon this conversation with J. Raphael, he did apologize but he never once mentioned ANYTHING how or what he could do to correct the situation. Before hanging up he did mention to me about asking my husband to help him with getting government contracts. In my opinion, if the buffet food was not prepared at the Botanical Garden, I thought at least the bride and groom's meal should have been prepared there. My husband and I appreciate the services for our guest but the ball was dropped for the main couple for the event.....and that was the Bride and the Groom.

J and his team provided the most delightful experience! During the planning stages J answered emails within a few HOURS! He was very clear about what was included and costs. The day of, he and his team worked quickly to set up the food and beverage station. We had brunch and the omelet station really impressed our guests.
The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I am a fairly competent cook and therefore a bit nervous. I had absolutely NO complaints. Everything we selected was executed perfectly.
Throughout the day, J and his team moved through the tables, collecting used plates and glasses.
After our guests had eaten their fill, J and his team quietly began taking down service. They packed up the extra food in heavy weight foil pans, covered with foil, and contents written on top.
The venue staff commented that J and his team left the kitchen cleaner than it was when they came - even mopping the kitchen floor!
I am so very grateful I found Events by J Raphael Caterering! I will never use any other caterer.

J and his staff did an exceptional job for my wedding on New Year's Eve. The food was delicious and there was more than enough for all our guests. Every one in attendance loved the dinner J prepared. Our reception was buffet style but that didn't stop J or his staff from assisting with clean up and seeing if our guest needed or wanted any thing additional. J goes above and beyond! I highly recommend him for all of your catering needs.

J Raphael really came in clutch to save an event this week! When the planned caterer flaked, they pulled off something just short of a miracle with less than 48 hours notice! The decorations were beautiful, the spread was impressive, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I know it was no easy task, and they did a great job!
