A lovely house right in the center of town. Lots of space in our room (it had a separate sitting area). Relaxing, well kept porch, bottled water, coffee and tea always available as well as a few small snacks. Nice breakfasts, great company and conversation. Used the big dining table for games one evening. Location cannot be beat- adjacent to Walnut Plaza and the business district! (No lake front view, but there are almost none of those in Lakeside.) Easy to access extra towels and pillows. Note: bring shampoo and conditioner, bathroom only had shower gel.

My cousin and I, both in our seventies, had a thoroughly enjoyable one week stay at Evening Song ! Great hosts who lived nearby, yummy breakfast daily, beautifully appointed (quiet) rooms with bathroom, use of a refrigerator & microwave, and one block from Lakeside downtown. We couldn’t have asked for more ! Highly recommend.

We spent 3 nights in the Four Seasons room which has a king size bed and is located on the first floor. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations. The yellow and purple color scheme was carried throughout the tastefully decorated room. Everything was pristine and looked brand new, and we loved the large front porch. Breakfast was delicious each morning and other couples at the bed and breakfast were delightful. Parking in front is for loading and unloading only but there is plenty of parking at lots around Lakeside. Hoover Auditorium is directly across the street as is a shuttle stop. We would definitely stay there again!

We love to come here when we visit Lakeside - a Chautauqua. Never want to leave. The breakfasts are gourmet and so delicious! The rooms are Victorian as Lakeside celebrates 150 years this summer! We also stayed here with the family about 6 years ago when my niece got married at Lakeside! Nice for the whole family to be here together!

We have stayed five times at the Evening Song and have never been disappointed. Carol and Gary are the most gracious hosts and are very accommodating to their guests. The entire house is spotless, the rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, and their breakfasts are delicious! The location is conveniently close to the downtown area and a short walk from the Lake. We have stayed in many B and B’s over the years, and the Evening Song is by far one of the best! Thank you, Carol and Gary for your gracious hospitality!

First time staying here. It is an adorable B&B in an adorable little town on Lake Erie. We had a downstairs room that was beautifully appointed and spotless. Carol is a wonderful cook and prepared two mouth watering breakfasts the two days we were there. It is close to all things at Lakeside and right across the street from Hoover Auditorium. Definitely will go back.

This was our third weekend stay at Evening Song B&B and we every stay has been far beyond our expectations. Carol & Gary thought of, prepared for, and fulfilled a guest’s every need with beautifully appointed rooms w/private baths. inviting sunroom, and a delicious gourmet-quality breakfast in the spacious dining room. The location in Lakeside can’t be beat. Such a beautiful place to rest and recharge from the stresses of routine life!

The Evening Song bed-and-breakfast in Lakeside Ohio was charming, filled with beautiful antiques and the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day living. Our hostess, Carol, helped to start our days with an amazing breakfast spread. I enjoyed the pecan French toast, a delicious frittata, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, and plenty of juices and coffee. I highly recommend staying here while visiting LAKESIDE, a beautiful small town on Lake Erie.
