This is a luxury room, just not as upscale as at the main hotel next door. But we paid less than one hundred dollars for the night, taxes included! The room was very clean and well-kept. There were signs of a recent freshening-up: some new wallpaper, fresh paint, etc. The bed was the only area for improvement - the mattress felt old. Good Wi-Fi, hot stand-alone shower, in-room fridge and k-cup coffee. With some new sidewalks and landscaping, the Estrella hotel now feels more connected to the casino.

If you are staying at Casino Del Sol, this is a great option. It's just a few steps across the parking lot, so it's very convenient, but it's considerably quieter. Room rates are very reasonable, the rooms are absolutely fine, housekeeping is daily and super helpful, there is a lovely pool and spa, a small fitness center and a small video game arcade. The building is newish and well maintained.

Free wifi in all areas is a plus. TV is standard hotel fare, it does not connect to your phone.

Estrella does not offer room service of any kind. Doordash or over at the casino are your options. But there are lots of good and reasonable dining options at the casino.

If you are in Tucson for events not at the casino, this location is a bit away from the town center, about a 20 minute drive. There's literally acres of free parking though. It's only about 15 minutes from the airport.

It's not a gloriously luxury hotel, but i feel like it's great value for money.

The front desk was not able to locate my Expedia reservation booked a week prior. The staff member then told me "don't worry about it" and stated the reservation was located. He handed me a document to sign stating it was for incidental fees, only to find later that he charged me for the room as well. I was double charged for my room. I could not get through to the hotel manager, and he never responded to my multiple voicemails. I then took to Expedia for some help. They ran into the same problem (hotel manger not available and not calling back) and they gave up. Be vigilant with your bank statements after staying at this hotel. I've hit nothing but dead ends getting clarification from management and was double charged (during Christmas when money is tight). Keep eye on them!

Terrrible pool and front desk experience. Staff refused to help with wristbands for pool area…after several guests from around the country came to town for a funeral. AWFUL. The children really needed to get some pool time after 2-days of funeral-related events. And because of unkind and unhelpful staff—we’re not able to. A bunch of crying kids under age 10: not good. I will stop recommending friends and family come here.

Pleasant, comfortable, affordable luxury. The room was spacious, extremely well appointed. Minimal wear and tear visible. The bathroom was awesome, but the water pressure on the top floor leaves much to be desired. The staff was friendly, attentive and courteous.

Horrible guest services…4 friends flew in from Hawaii, Texas, and Georgia for a child’s FUNERAL. Tried to bring kids to the hotel pool as a way to unwind after an extremely difficult few days. Front desk staff extremely unkind, ungenerous and not helpful. All kids upset and unable to use facilities based on a technicality. Friends and family usually always stay here when visiting on other occasions. Spend $$ at casino and bar…but will NEVER stay again after today’s treatment. Especially under the circumstances.

Love The Estrella Hotel at Casino del Sol. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Plenty of towels and complementary bath essentials. Handicap rooms available upon request. Plenty of parking and handicap accessible. Staff very courteous. Highly recommend.
