Emily’s Catering blew us away in every way! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but their customer service and professionalism went above and beyond our expectations. As a couple doing a lot of DIY for our wedding, we were a little overwhelmed and didn’t have a wedding planner, but from our very first tasting, Emily’s team made us feel completely confident and supported.

The food was unmatched — our guests, along with us, have been talking about their incredible risotto ever since! We were also a bit nervous about how the logistics of moving chairs from the ceremony to the dining area would play out, but Emily's team handled everything so seamlessly that we didn’t even notice the transition. They were smooth, organized, and so professional.
The team was thoughtful and detail-oriented, setting up our table settings and decor exactly how we imagined. The bar service was incredible, and we had so many compliments from our guests, including one from my very particular uncle, who was thrilled with how they incorporated his special bottles into the service. Rick, Cheryl, and the entire team were by far the most impressive vendor we worked with — they were organized, kind, and made the day run so smoothly.

One of our favorite parts of our wedding weekend was finishing up bringing all of the decor back to our house, and popping trays of Emily’s catering into the oven and reading all of our cards from our wedding day. We even had enough pulled pork and risotto to bring back to Brooklyn with us, it made our wedding last a week longer!

We are so thankful for the incredible service Emily’s Catering provided. We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I sincerely hope we can work with them again in the future — they made our wedding day the best day of our lives!

If you’re considering a meal that will have your wedding guests talking about it a week after your special day, Emily’s is the way to go!

To start, Emily’s offers a variety of different Hors d'oeuvres to choose from to make your cocktail hour special. We chose to have the antipasto grazing table, as well as 8 different Hors d'oeuvres that staff consistently walked around with. Then, when it came time for our dinners, between the portion, presentation and FLAVORS, we were absolutely blown away.

Lastly, we chose to have a pie station accompanied with smaller deserts along with coffee and tea. This made the end of our wedding absolutely spectacular.

Our concern to Rick when we were choosing catering for our wedding was being hungry immediately after it was over… Rick assured us that wouldn’t be the case and boy was he not wrong. We were 100% satisfied!

Staff was amazing, helpful and always asking us if we needed anything. If you’re considering catering for any event, Emily’s is the way to go!! Thank you to Rick and his wonderful staff for making our wedding perfect!

Our experience with Emily's Catering for our wedding was absolutely outstanding. From them taking the time with us to really figure out the menu to giving us and our guests 11/10 service on the day of, Emily's Catering went above and beyond every step of the way. They even made sure my wife and I got our own plates of delicious passed hors d'oeuvres and that any guests with dietary restrictions had outstanding meals to enjoy. The food and the beverages were outstanding and all of our guests loved them. If you're considering Emily's Catering, use them, you'll be blown away!

I don't even know where to start. From the moment we met Rick and had our tasting we knew there was no one else we wanted to cater our wedding. That was the best decision we could have made. The entire process was so easy and stress free. Fantastic communication from that first meeting throughout the whole process. Cheryl in the office is so on top of everything. The day of our wedding during setup it rained, it was on the beach and where they cooked the food to where they set up was a nice distance from each other. The staff was smiling , happy, professional and efficient, Just wonderful the entire day and night. I don't think there was one guest that didn't comment how great the staff was. And the food over the top amazing. The passed hors d'oeuvres were such a hit, small grilled cheese sandwiches with tiny cups of soup, individual little bottles of patron with a shrimp on a skewer I could go on and on about the presentation the quality and the taste but let's just say people were raving. Every hors d'oeuvre we selected was amazing and the cocktail hour stations were unbelievable so much food! The quality of the food and the selection for dinner did not disappoint. Amazing!! Emily's catered our brunch the next day and we couldn't have been happier. I don't think there was one guest that didn't contact us the next day to let us know that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! Highly recommend Rick and his entire staff of Emily's catering. If we ever have another event they will definitely be who we call.

If you do one thing on your wedding day, HIRE EMILY'S CATERING!!!!! My husband and I used Emily's for our 5/13/23 wedding at Smith Farm Gardens and the only thing we regret is not booking them sooner. As soon as we reached out to Emily's for more information, we were hooked. From day one, all the way to the wedding day, Rick and Cheryl were patient, knowledgeable and kind. They answered every single question I had (and there were A LOT), whether it was through email, phone calls or stopping by in person to chat. After we had our tasting, it just solidified our decision because everything was SO GOOD. Unlike other tastings we attended, this was a private tasting and Rick really paid attention to what we were looking for and all the little details. Because we were unsure what "package" to go with, Rick prepared a little bit of everything on the menu for us to try. There was so much food leftover that he allowed us to bring it home and let our parents try too (which they loved). After reviewing our options with Rick, we ended up going with the grazing table appetizers, dinner stations and dessert table. The stations were a hit because there was something for everyone and it was different (and more fun) than your typical buffet or plated wedding food. Also included with the catering was a snack/beverage station (parmesan popcorn and mango lemonade YUM) for before the ceremony AND a custom cake. Rick and Cheryl also worked with us to come up with our own "custom" signature drinks, which was so fun. My husband did an Old Fashioned with a candied bacon garnish and I did a Prickly Pear Margarita and they were absolutely phenomenal. At the end of the night, Emily's did chocolate chip cookies with milk for our guest favors. Cheryl allowed me to print my own stickers that she then added to the bags, which was such a nice touch. I also have to mention the GORGEOUS table settings, blue napkins and blue drinking glasses that Rick and Cheryl found to perfectly match my vision. It's cliché, but our guests were RAVING about every single detail. The bartenders, the food, the service. 17338284/10 stars. We are so grateful!

I wanted to write to thank you and everyone at Emily’s Catering for the fantastic food and service this past Sunday. From the on time delivery to the overwhelming spread of food, we couldn't have been happier. As I talked to our guests, every single guest commented on how good the food tasted. More than one person wanted your contact information for a future event. My only regret is that I couldn’t take some of the leftovers (there was not a lot of leftovers) with me back to Texas. We used Emily's Catering Group for our wedding and have nothing but great things to say about them from day #1. Cheryl is AWESOME with communicating and Rick was very attentive to our wishes in creating a custom menu for us. On the wedding day the service was top-notch and all of our guests commented on how quickly the food was served and how delicious everything was! Five stars isn't enough, Emily's is platinum!!!! Literally the best wedding reception I have EVER been to, including my own. Our family is from Pittsburgh, PA. We had to do our daughter's entire wedding and reception remote. She wanted to be married in her great-grandmother's church in Danbury, and reception at her grandfather's in West Hartford. A huge challenge to put that kind of trust in folks 10 hours away! Emily's didn't skip a beat.. they worked with us for an entire year in advance to make sure everything was to our very specific liking. I had no idea how elegant everything would be until the day of. Everyone was dressed in all black, just sharp! The food... UNBELIEVABLE... I cannot say enough of the food, that lavender lemonade... to die for... folks at the reception were from all over the U.S. including as far as California, South Carolina, New York, West Virginia, Tennessee and Pa. EVERYONE was raving about the food.. I had to entrust EVERYTHING to Emily's including table settings/decor. They nailed it... just could go on forever about them and they come HIGHLY recommended!! Thank you so much to Rick, Cheryl, and Janna and all the rest of the staff who made Rose and Ben's day to remember a dream come true!!!
