My girlfriend and I have done a nice quiet getaway here. We loved it, world class service, the manager is quick to respond and helpful. Beautiful, I loved the outdoors cooking spread, w/ the grills, griddle, cleaning utensils. A beautiful place to get out of the city.

Came with my elderly parents to a family outdoor wedding. Beautiful cabin, spacious kitchen and living room area. Well stocked on towels and toiletries. The complimentary bottle of wine was nice. Plenty of coffee and hot cocoa. Lovely outdoor area. Would reserve again.

Wow! Very impressed by this place. My husband and I stayed in Cabin 5 for 2 nights. The cabin is small, but it was perfect since we didn’t intend to spend much time there, as our plan was to spend time hiking and picnicking in the woods. We wanted a clean nice place to sleep. We liked it so much we ended up making dinner there one night and using one of the grills. It is very quiet and comfortable and had all the kitchen necessities for making a meal. The complimentary wine was a bonus. We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. We had #6. Sleeps 6. Full kitchen. All the amenities needed. Nice newly remolded. We ere extremely impressed with this cabin. It had an incredible outdoor deck with firepit, grill and table with chairs. Mr Bob was an excellent host. He was very professional and cordial. We definitely will stay here at Elk Haven cabins should we ever come back to payson. We were totally comfortable.

We had a beautiful night at Elk Cabins. The service was great. We rented cabin 3 and when we got there there was no hot water running. Bob was very communicative and immediately moved us to another cabin without issues.
It's such a nice touch that they welcome you with a bottle of Chardonnay. The cabin has everything you need to cook with except an oven. We originally going to stay 2 nights but had an emergency and left after one night which was a bummer. Will be staying here again on our next adventure for sure.

We had a wonderful time at Elk Haven Cabins! Sheila was SUPER friendly and VERY accommodating! We had a large group that rented all of the cabins on site and it was wonderful! The cabins were nice, they had all you needed for cooking etc. And they were clean and cozy with the fireplace inside! We were looking for a place that was within 2 hours of all the people meeting. The cabins are perfectly located for off-road rides. We even were able to drive to Young, AZ from the cabins on the dirt roads which was a real treat! I highly recommend Sheila and her cabins and we will definitely be returning if she'll have us!!! Great time!

We stayed in cabin #5 for a two day stay. The cabin was as described newly renovated however it comes with the realization of compromised space. The queen bed is fitted into a small space where there is no room to stand on either side of the bed. One has to slide one's way down the bed to stand up and crawl on all fours to lay down. The closet is a glorified towel rack and there are only two small drawers located underneath the mattress. Outside is very pleasant as there are two grills and a griddle. The shared fire pit is located in the middle of all the 5 cabins however one either has to buy wood or forage out in the forest. There is very spotty internet service, the best feature about the cabins is you are situated in the forest as it's location is 2 miles from the main highway.

We stayed this past weekend and it was amazingly beautiful. The cabin was super clean and comfortable there is near creeks, hiking trails, and a fishing lake by Canyon Woods Lake 5 minutes away in the Rim Area. You do not have to bring anything except your food. We felt as if we were at home, Owner Sheila is wonderful, nice and friendly. I will definitely recommend it to anybody, great place to stay. Love it so much that we did not wanted to live. Thank you so much Sheila for always making us feel part of your family
