The management was so kind and accommodating to us when we had engine trouble on Dec 30. Really pretty shady sights backing onto the water reservoir. Dog park was great as well along with lots of space to walk the pooches.

Nicely maintained KOA. Sites are close together but for one night that's a non issue. Really lovely grounds. We didn't use the WiFi but Verizon signal good. Driving from the highway to the KOA is a little tricky but follow the arrowed signs. The Cherokee Restaurant gives 10% discount with KOA receipt and was a nice, convenient place to eat. We would absolutely stay here again.

Incredible koa especially with the 2 buffalos. My puppy/dog enjoys the dog park. There's a nearby stream that she loves running to, to get wet. The highway nearby can get loud at certain times of the day. Staff are incredible!

Small park right off the highway. We just stayed one night as we were traveling. It was a clean park and our paperwork was ready as we got there after 7p. Only complaint is it was noisy with semi traffic running all night on highway.

Campsites and cabins. Firepits. Playground. Travel store, restaurant, showers. Clean, friendly, and close to truckstop style gas stations.

Great for a 1-night stay. I was a bit surprised because I thought I booked a site with sewer hookup, but apparently I did not. The dump station wasn't really usable, as the drive was only maybe 20 feet long (we're a 35-foot rig towing a vehicle) & there was no connection at the dump station for a water hose. So, word to the wise, double check your reservation if you need sewer! The park is lovely - well maintained & very clean. There was some road noise from I-40, but the location was perfect for us as we were continuing on west. The laundry area was clean, & we appreciated that it was open 24-hours as we were only there the 1 night & needed to get caught up. The woman in the office was incredibly friendly & we felt welcome.

The KOA itself is pretty nice. The cabins, back in sites, dog run and areas, and pond are all on the plus side. The RV pull throughs...are trash, and I mean terrible.

The pull throughs are far to close to one another, putting your darn near in the position to step on the neighbors sewer hose as you step out of your own rig. Our neighbor didn't wanna put the effort in screwing their hose elbow to the sewer flange, left it just freely laying and draining, with the sewer open. The sewer gas smell that smacked you was fabulous upon leaving our own rig, especially with the nice heat wave going on. The sites are far to narrow to have a table (there was no anyways) or do any sort of food prep. Not to mention the close vicinity of the sewer. The sites a pretty unlevel as well.

They do have multiple sewer hookups per site though. So if you have a rig that has multiple or different sewer connections, these make it a breeze.

With that being said, it would be a benefit to stagger the entry of each camper so that their respective sewers were on the same side. They have the room.

The dog runs were cool, decent sized, one for small dogs, and one for large. Lots of "goat heads" though (stickers). There are also plenty of grass areas that are open where they allow pups to go as well.

The kids area looked dope. I wish I was young again. That "pillow" thing looks like a load of fun. The area was really clean.

We didn't use any other facilities as we merely stayed the night. Overall, the grounds were clean and well kept. The staff during check in were nice.

The trading post was pretty cool and stocked with Knick knacks. The restaurant was just meh, good service though! The Bison were also pretty cool to check out.

I probably wouldn't stay here again, simply due to the tight spaces. Although, site #74 (I think) is a pull through, with a patio area, and fire pit with grill. Had we known it was available, we would have paid the extra. We basically paid 45 bucks to dump poo and have a/c. The heat and wind was pretty ruthless as well, and there is no shade for the pull throughs. The lake also had some "stank" to it, but gives cool scenery. Slight road noise with a/c on as well, but right of the I-40 (North or West bound side)

If you do stay, I would recommend the one pool through site with the patio, or the back in sites as they have some shade. The back ins do not have sewer, so keep that in mind.

Really well kept campground. Nicest restrooms and showers you can find. Grassy off leash dog area. Back in spots are great, pull thrus look cramped.
I will stay here again!
