Food was good, service not good - our waiter forgot us and some of the food we ordered. Saw a young girl working there pour the salsa from a serving bowl back into the dispenser jar and that kinda made me think. Will not be going back.

Wife ordered 2 chalupas and a burrito when it came out it was 2 tostada's and a burrito. When we informed them they got the order wrong they told us tostada's and chalupas are the same thing. Outside of that we never got checked on one time. The waitress was very lackluster. The atmosphere in the place is non existent, no music playing and the employees acted like everything was an inconvenience. This is the second time I've been here in about 5 months and the previous time was about the same. So needless to say we probably won't be going back.

I have been a patron here for the last 17 years. This is one of our favorite spots, and we eat here almost weekly. They have a very large menu, and the prices are pretty decent. The portions of food are good compared to what you pay for and the food itself is always excellent. My favorites are the Texas rice, or the El Ranchitos fajitas. Their burrito California is also awesome!! Service is usually pretty good, but there have been a few times that we have gone in and it has been shoddy. The atmosphere is great. I love the fact that you can talk and still hear each other at the table. Thomas is awesome. Very friendly, every time we see him.

Portions are decent, service is great, but the food? Might as well eat at Taco Bell as far as authenticity and flavor. Sorry!

The food here is decent, but it does not justify what you're going to pay for it. The food doesn't usually seem fresh. The portions, however, are generous and enough to satisfy a large appetite.

Would I go back? Yeah, probably. Just because the next Mexican restaurant is in Rincon. But if I had the option of El Ranchito or another Mexican restaurant, I would definitely go with something else.

Service was pretty good. It was not busy so the wait was fairly short to get the food. Although the food portion was huge, the flavor was lacking in the Chilaquiles that I ordered. The salsa with the free chips was very good though .

I visited this place today and I loved the food and service offered. Employees were very nice, humble and friendly. Prices are super affordable and they serve a lot of food. I will be back for sure.
