This is my go to place for Mexican food. The staff are nice & they know from prior visits what you want. Clean restrooms.Good service.

This place is always our go to when we are in the area. 5 Starts everything. The chicken flautas are so so juicy. The chicken has never been dry, the strawberry water and peach water are our favorite. So so good and they do not disappoint with the portions.
This is the place you go when you are hungry and want good quality food asap!
Everyone there is always great. I have had an amazing experience every time.

I have some of the best rice here that I have ever had. It is so good. The servers are very friendly and the prices are good compared to other places. Love the food here. Just a little outdated inside.

The food was surprisingly delicious and the service was great. The items like the rice and refried beans, typically served at Mexican restaurants, were flavorful and not over cooked like many other restaurants. The Quesadillas and Chimichangas were excellent. Definitely worth checking out.

I stopped in at a whim due to hunger pains. I double parked and blocked the entire front door with my company truck, ordered take-out, and disappeared to the restroom for the remainder of my to take out experience. By the time I exited the building, the employees of very few words , very humbly guided me to my truck and passed my food to me as they politely smiled and bowed their heads. Such great service and then the extremely accessible parking lot. Absolutely nothing was lacking.It propelled my memory back in time to Sundays after church with my granny. Delectable food was an unexpected treat! When I think of The Matador, it puts a quite large smile on my face and I think of my grandparents on a Sunday evening after church, serenely sweet and all is right with the world, What else is to be expected when the restaurant is ran by the grandmother.

Well well well I know it’s hard times, but “WOW”!!!! Took my mother out for dinner/lunch more like lunch plates and getting charged for dinner plates. We both ordered loco Polo dinners, but I added steak and shrimp to mine. So when her plate came she had all this chicken on her plate and when I got my lunch/dinner plate I had 3 slices of chicken when she had 10. I asked the lady why I’m being charged more money if there giving me less chicken just to give me a few shrimp and a few pieces of steak. She had no clue but still wanting there money! WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!! Don’t add nothing because they will charge you extra and give you less off what you already suppose to get! Then I had to ask the lady up front for a my check because the waiter must of went home!! Never again!!!!!

5 stars. Love everything, especially their mexican buttery garlicy rice! Best Mexican rice I've EVER had! Huge portions! Can't go wrong with their Fajitas with their delicious sauteed onions, peppers& tomatoes!! The only thing lacking is that they don't offer my favorite dish; Guacamole Casera (chunky guacamole).
