The accommodations are about what you would expect (not fancy and new, but well kept and clean). The staff were wonderful and friendly. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating, even though she was in the middle of dealing with a problem in the laundry room. Cookies in the lobby were an added bonus!

Stayed here 1 night, and I loved it! It's an older building for sure, but the bed was comfy, the staff was friendly, and it was the cleanest motel I've ever been in! Not even a hint of that musty smell that usually lives in older buildings. Safire restaurant next door is pretty tasty, too.

Location is good, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. AC was cold, TV with multiple channels. A downside is that the walls in the room are very thin, we could hear our neighbor taking a shower. There was also a dog barking at 6am, the dog was left alone in the room by its owner.

Is it a five star luxury resort? No. Does it get 5 stars for being a great old school motel? Absolutely! This place is clean and affordable. Cold AC, dish HD TVs, comfortable beds and the friendliest staff around. I recommend staying here.

These folks are the BEST! Very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and they are remodeling rooms to improve even more. Highly highly recommend staying here!! The restaurant next door was also convenient, friendly, accommodating and really delicious when you stay at El Jo.

Nice, clean rooms conveniently located directly across from the Heritage Center. We could not get the television to work and there was no on-site front desk staff to help us resolve the problem, and the 'sister motel' (Rode Inn) would not pick up the phone. Employee shortage was the excuse; other businesses nearby didn't seem to have this issue. At $100+/night the head housekeeper should not have been the only employee running interference for poor management.
